Hinds have created an album seemingly more polished than the first album, but without losing any of the fun. This is the album where Hinds have truly blossomed, letting their personalities shine through, all the while making fantastic summer-y music. Personal favorites include "The Club", "Finally Floating", "Linda", "Soberland", and "Tester".

Hinds have improved their style of music than the first album, every song is a cool story with the company of the voice of Carlotta and Ana, making a unique each one of the songs. This is a fantastic album for having fun and listen to good indie rock songs. Personal favorites includes: "The Club" "New For You" "Tester" "Finally Floating" "Soberland" "Echoing My Name" Expand

There aren't as many songs that stick in the mind compared to their 2016 release 'Leave Me Alone', but the girls in Hinds still managed to create an energetic and youthful album about the highs and lows of being in love.

"New For You" is a catchy track but sadly it's the only track that sticks with you from listening to the whole album. I think they grew as artists on the record but it's not a record I'll be putting on repeat. I love their energy but wish the song writing and playing could be stronger.

I Don’t Run never ventures too far away from convention, but it doesn’t need to. It’s that familiarity that allows them to ramp up the sentimentality without coming across as kitsch.

Hinds are here to have fun, whether you like it or not. They may not push past boundaries they are comfortable with, but they have identified the qualities that make them special--carving out their own niche in the modern music spectrum of loveable lo-fi embedded with off-kilter charm.

I Don’t Run can be misread as an album of fun alternative rock songs, but under the surface, it is so much more. Every instrument feels perfectly in place to create a wide range of songs. Varying emotions and a distinctly more mature Hinds.
