    Halsey’s songwriting and vocals mixed with Trent and Atticus production is magnificent; goosebumps from the first track since the last one. The tradition is a wonderful opening track; Bells in Santa Fe, Easier than Lying, 1121, honey, I am not a woman, I’m a God and The Lighthouse are surely some of Halsey’s best songs ever.

    This is Halsey's best album. Sorry BADLANDS. The Tradition as an opening song is perfect. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and producers give this album the best vibes possible. It is dark and lovely and ugly and pretty all at once. When I was listening to it for the first time each song that played was my favorite and then I was at the end.     The album was so good. Halsey literally made it possible for me to feel like I was in the setting they created for the album: some dark, mysterious and dangerous ancient royal city. Halsey knows how to start an album and they really showed it this time. Honestly, this is a work of art.

    Halsey's ability to weave her personal life and sincere truths into a concept album with a storyline grande enough to simultaneously exist in a movie is inexplicable and jaw-dropping... they are a true visionary in every aspect of the word. Forever in awe of her.

    Honestly, the range Halsey has on this album is phenomenal! The raw vocals alone give Me goosebumps. IICHLIWP shows how much Halsey has grown as an artist, not just her vocals but lyrics and melodies, within the last 6/7 years. Another serious competitor for AOTY with no skips!!

    Not many times have I seen such paradoxical lyrics lie in such cohesion with each other. We all know Halsey to be a great vocalist and amazing lyricist and this album truly does not disappoint. The production is fantastic, the concept is brilliant and the overall feel of the album is unlike any other album I've listened to before.

    Lyrically, sonically and visually a masterpiece. There is no other musician who can strip themselves raw with vulnerability and show the world darkness like Halsey. This is the album built from the past 6/7 years of blood, sweat, and tears. They’ve come so far as an artist, a full range one at that.

    It's Halsey's best work so far. A concept, vocals and production from Trent and Atticus made an incredible album and one of the best albums by mainstream singer in last few years. It is deserved to get 10. Best tracks: honey, 1121, easier than lying, the lighthouse, the tradition.

Certain songs have that essence that tastes like truly them, sticking to her style but still reinventing herself and delivering new things. The same connections between their songs and previous studio work albums that give the fans that much to love. Easier than lying, you asked for this, honey, the lighthouse or Woman/god give us halsey in their purest rock state, while the tradition, whispers or lilith give us that sound we already know, but in a new format but that works well. Finally, darling and Ya'burnee give us the purity and calmness that is always needed and always goes well coming from halsey's trained voice.     Halseys best work yet. The influence of NIN complimented Hasleys voice perfectly. the opening song ‘The Tradition’ really set the tone for the album and prepared you for what is in store. The closing song ‘Ya’burnee’ was a great ending to a beautiful masterpiece of an album.

That’s the thing that nobody else talks about.” …After initially, and boldly, claiming “If I can’t have love, I want power.” Halsey takes us on an intimate journey through the horrors and trials of newfound motherhood, culminating in a change of heart. Surprisingly, Halsey bids for love, abandoning the walls they built up around themselves and instead choosing family. Ya’aburnee, the final track, is one that puts the journey into perspective. Translating to ‘You bury me’ this song is a love letter to Halsey’s partner and their newborn child. A sweet yet sorrowful declaration of ‘I pray that you outlive me, because the pain of not having you with me would ruin me.’ At this point, Halsey has succumbed to love, and has stopped seeking intangible power. This album is a beautiful expedition through motherhood and creating the foundations of a family, and this beautiful concept is weaved throughout the 13 tracks in an effortlessly subtle way.     To start out I have been a fan of Halsey for years now. I think she has some of the best albums in my opinion with zero skips, yet this one had to grow on me. However it has grown on me so much and I think it is one of if not the best album to come out of 2021.

    This album is the best and her best album so far. Easier than Lying is my favorite on this album, an electronic genre that makes you feel dead and dance. Bells of Santa Fe, Honey, and Girl Is a Gun are pleasing and fit in this album. I think it deserves a lot of attention. And I love this album. I will listen to this so many times.

    Halsey never fails to deliver a strong lyrical album followed with sublime production. They continuously gets better and better, What an artist!

    Halsey's songwriting, from Trent's production, everything was at it's best. What a brilliant album, one of Halsey's best bodies of work, cannot wait to buy this album on vinyl!

    Compared to this summer's pop offerings—think of the similarly themed efforts by Billie Eilish and Lorde, both of which deal with the trappings of fame with serenity and blissful detachment, respectively—If I Can't Get Love, I Want Power is provocative, and even ugly, in its most vulnerable moments. Self-indulgent, sure, but its emotional chaos feels earned.

    Easier Than Lying is shouty and electronic, while You Asked for This finds Halsey fronting a Smashing Pumpkins pastiche. Amid all the Sturm und Drang and sludgy oompah (The Lighthouse) there is some high-quality writing, chiefly in the pizzicato niggles and Jesus analogies of Bells in Santa Fe (“it’s not a happy ending”) and Whispers.

    If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is on an upward trajectory in terms of Halsey releasing quality music. By and by, Halsey may not have love, but her latest record is power.
