    I've been listening to and enjoying her music since her debut in 2005 and this is the most disappointed I've been with an album of hers. Reading all the raves, I'm confused. I find her over the top quavering voice so affected and manipulative that it's hard to listen to. Glad the others are enjoying this, but count me out.

    I still remember when I heard her work of 2018. Man, how not to forget such a piece of wonder, and that positive things are recovered from pain. Now, she is cured. Yes. More than something personal, it's about sharing the various teachings ("Letter To The Past"), opening your heart for the good ones ("This Time Tomorrow") and the bad ones ("When You're Wrong"). More than something personal, it's about sharing the various teachings ("Letter To The Past"), opening your heart for the good ones ("This Time Tomorrow") and the bad ones ("When You're Wrong"). There's a certain ecclesiastical quality not only with "Throwing Good After Bad", but with the entire album. A stairway to what can be the afterlife.

    Perfect album. Brandi brought a current and modern work, talking about her deepest feelings.
    Indeed this album is the perfect continuation of By The Way, I Forgive You.

    Has some good moments but in overall i find it very stilted. The vocals are kinda too...

    It's clear that every song was thought as a proper piece of this project through its lyrics, instrumentation and time stomps but it's too mild, shallow and regular.

    Carlile has been making high-quality music for years, and In These Silent Days adds to that legacy. The songwriting is so good throughout, and Cobb and Jennings’ production is spot-on. ... Regardless of genre, though, this record deserves recognition as being one of the year’s best.
