There are few artists who creates album like that. I realized that he wants to share a story to us. He added old school rock hip-hop, and blended rock genre. If you are planing to listen the album. Give it a try from starting to end

Listening to the songs in order from track 1 to track 10 tells a story so creative and interesting that repeating the album on various accounts becomes easier after every listen. The songs address topics such as equality, diversity, selfhope/selflove and many other important messages needed in our society today. Alongside the amazing messages comes beats, instrumentals, lyrics, and hoseok’s flow that almost forces you to bop your head from start to finish. Anyone who hasn’t listened already i suggest listening as soon we possible, this is an album that must be shared Expand

He's such a brave artist working on more different approach in production. Also, the flow of this album sonically just totally makes sense, it feels like listening to an audio book. A really great audio book with the most exciting plot.

A masterpiece. I knew it was going to be good but its SO GOOD. Both singles More and Arson are incredibly well crafted, super energetic and very JHOPE. Obsessed doesn’t even describe how I am currently feeling. I love albums that leaves me questioning for hours what my favorite track is, and Jack in the Box falls exactly under that type of album. Its cool to see an artist try so many different sounds and have a tracklist that connects /this/ well. Well done hobi!

Hoseok’s music spectrum is extremely wide. Tho it’s completely different from the kind of music we are used to from his band, his individual projects has something raw that’s never been seen before. So good luck to him on this project. I’ve been enjoying it so far and i hope others do too. He is a really talented individual

The whole production is a work of art. Not looping this one is getting really hard for every fan out there. Make sure to listen with headphones to get the best experience. Specially for the transition from Music Box to What If... I can't wait for the world to hear the mastermind that is Jung Hoseok.

Jack in the box is a new chapter of J-hope, which brings a new side of your self. If in Hope World we had an intimate and "sunny" side of BTS's J-hope, Hoseok built after Arson a darker side in his career. Whether the music on Jack in the Box suits your taste or not, it’s hard to dismiss this album as an artistic statement rather than just chapter 1/7 of BTS proving they can also make money in ways beyond official group releases.

The artist born Jung Ho-seok delivers emotional depth and irresistible energy. Backed by rowdy production, his aggression, raspy delivery, and tongue-twisting bars take center stage, showcasing the rap-focused perspective that he brings to the BTS formula.

There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
