    gd album shows how much montana has become rather than focusing on random things sets goals for unique styoe sounds and collabs we remember props to swae you will do good as a solo act no doubt so will jimmy keep it montana all you guys do gd

    Well.....it's definitely better than Excuse My French anyways. As always, production and features make the songs tolerable, but the songs without the features on them are mediocre to just plain boring. I've said it before and I'll say it again, French is a below average rapper. He's definitely a good person but his solo music, not so much. It's a shame that this was his second studio albumWell.....it's definitely better than Excuse My French anyways. It's a shame that this was his second studio album instead of MC4 seeing how that project was French's best effort yet. This one just feels rushed out after the success of Unforgettable (definitely one of the best songs on the project). This is definitely not a good album but also not terrible so hey, he's making progress.

    French isn't much of a singer, but I believe his talent is how successfully he can assemble the collaborators necessary to make his albums interesting. Swae Lee and The Weeknd may outperform French, but it works.

    French’s tendency for repetitive subject matter and lack of a distinct rhyme or reason in terms of the type of creative direction that solidifies an artist as an entity of their own leaves a bit to be desired from Jungle Rules. Those missteps aside, Jungle Rules is a quality long player with a few worthwhile peaks, in spite of its valleys.

    What hampers Montana the most on Jungle Rules are the album’s most compelling features--the actual features. While his ear for strong cameos remains a key ingredient to his success, it’s also taking away from his artistry. Montana can certainly make a song but guest stars shouldn’t be constantly stealing the shine from the headline act.
