RandyLMay 5, 2004Very very impressive, never got to hear their 1st album so this was my first taste of CTC. Intense, innovative and emotional, truly progressive rock.

coalgoveMay 5, 2004I saw them live. Was blown away with the sheer genius and madness of tctc. Buy the album, you will not regret it. Mine has not left my cd player for a month.

MarcOApr 1, 2004Shows the band has matured since their debut, and although it seems less loud than 'See This Through And Leave', some parts are genuinely fiercer.

richardmFeb 17, 2004fine album, the hybrid of some impressive riffs, the proof of the most intense synths around these days, and some very deep lyrics. and promises promises proves they have the rock within them.

CraigCOct 28, 2003Another great record by CTC. One of the best bands in England, and typically being ignored here.

Q MagazineAn impressively thoughtful album. [Oct 2003, p.103]

Lord knows what's going to happen when they abandon their commercial concessions entirely (as we suspect this buys them the opportunity to do. Good), but this is stunning enough in its own right.

It's different without being aggravating and intelligent without ever being overbearing.
