Hands down one of the best albums of the year. This album is way better than Ye and it shows why Kanye is know as one of the most gifted artists in hip hop. This is the best collab album since Run the Jewels and it might be even better. It shows that collab albums can indeed work today even with the failures and mediocre attempts we've been seeing (Drake & Future, Nav & Metro Boomin, Young Thug & Future). I expected this to be WAY more organized than Ye and it definitely is. It's obvious they've been working on this for some time. The production is some of the best this year along with 'Daytona' and Saba's 'Care for Me'. I just can''t understand why Kanye didn't want Ye to flow like this album because he definitely could have if he wanted to. He most likely scrapped the album that flowed for a more erratic and harsh album to reflect his mental state. Ye is not bad and it's an above average album but this is a GREAT album! If this group sticks around, they can really leave a major mark in rap history. Well done, KSG. Expand

Quite possibly the best album so far this year. It really brings out the best in both Kanye and espcially Cudi. I'm willing to bet that the reason "ye" was a bit underwelming was that Kanye was saving his best efforts for this project. This album features some of Kanye's best verses lyrically, some of Cudi's best vocals and the best overall sound quality I've heard from either artist in years. Every song on this album brings a unique vibe to the table, something that neither of Kanye's previous two projects managed to pull off succesfully. The samples are amazing, the production is amazing, the lyrics and vocals are amazing. Overall this album is incredible. Kanye really reminds us that he's still capable of producing music of the highest calibre, despite his recent public statements and controversy. Expand

"KIDS SEE GHOSTS" is very well executed from start to finish. Kanye brings an intense, almost psychedelic level of production to this project. Ye also delivers some of his best verses lyrically since his classic MBDTF in 2010. Delving into the subject of mental health, both Kanye and Cudi construct a clear concept for the album. Which, although the content is dark lyrically, just feels GOOD to listen to. Accompanied by Cudi's famous Humming harmonizing with the beats, as well as his infectious hooks throughout the album, making this one of Hip-Hop's best collaborative album and I hope to hear more from KIDS SEE GHOSTS in the future. Everything I like to see in a Kid Cudi Project meets everything I like to see in a Kanye album.

Absolutely stunning! One of the best collabs in a while. I strongly suggest listening to this album at least twice before deciding on what you think of it.

A very great album with solid beats, lyrics, and tracks. This is a very good collaboration album but it sounds more like a Kid Cudi album. 4th Dimension (feat. Louis Prima) is a great intro track to the album. The song has uncredited vocals from Pusha T.

All of the tracks are very well produced. None of them felt rushed like some tracks on Ye. The only real issue with this album is the length.

Even though the lengh is about the same as Ye and Daytona, it felt much shorter. This album is easier to listen to. This is the more radio-friendly album.

I can see all seven tracks on this album being Top 100 on the billboard and also, I feel like this album would be a safe pick to get nominated for a Grammy. It's more of a pop-rap album.

Even though Ye is on the album, you might leave the album feeling like it's a Cudi album rather than a collaboration album. The only song that truly feels like a collaboration song is Ghost Town, part 2.

I give this album a light 8. I suggest adding this album to a playlist with the album Ye and listen to them as one album. If you're a Cudi fan, then you'll enjoy this album a lot. This project sounds similar to Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.

There’s a beguiling modesty to tracks such as “Fire” and “4th Dimension”, while Yasiin Bey’s understated sprechgesang advising “Kids see ghosts sometimes” on the title track feels plausible, immanent, urgent. [Aug 2018, p.63]

Kids See Ghosts will be remembered as the climax and most enduring record of Ye Season, one that keeps giving with each and every replay.

The controlled chaos of the record is proof that somewhere beneath all of the public outbursts and musical misfires, Kanye West--not the old Kanye--but the actual man and his heart are still somewhere in the mix planning to raise the bar and occasionally executing to near flawless result.
