Kiss Me Once is a decent album however I was quite disappointed with the high number of album fillers on the album. The best songs on the album are Into the Blue, Million Miles and Sexcercize.

Kiss Me Once marks a wonderful return for Kylie to the public eye. This album contains the essence of Kylie, a lot of pop and her tremendous vocals! If you ever have the chance... you should buy it!

It's a pleasure to hear her return to her pop roots. However, for all it's fun and likability, it's also a little messy. It feels like a wasted opportunity. A great album for those who like simply Pop Music. However, does not show the expected innovation by Kylie Minogue. Has great songs and it's great to hear.

Certainly, it's not her best work. Australian pop princess, Kylie Minogue, continues to use various producers, which causes the album identity to be lost. Her previous album, "Aphrodite", is a masterpiece compared to "Kiss Me Once". And "Beautiful", her collaboration with Enrique Iglesias, might be the worst song of her entire career. And "Beautiful", her collaboration with Enrique Iglesias, might be the worst song of her entire career. One thing that is missed is her songwriting skills. There is only one track with her own lyrics, and we all know how well Kylie can write songs. The album is neither 100% pop nor 100% EDM, it's just an amount of productions. But, still, it is something good. The Kylie-touch that only she can give to her stuff makes everything match perfectly. Maybe, it this record belonged to any other artist, it wouldn't be good at all. But I think that her biggest mistake was not to include "Sparks", the B-Side for the lead single of the album, "Into the Blue", on the album's final cut. It's probably the best song of the "Kiss Me Once" era. Expand

This album is refreshing, and easy to listen to. Sultry, sexy, and different from the rest of the female vocalists out at present. Mr.President, I Was Gonna Cancel and Feels So Good are three of the best songs on this album. Listening to this on your way to work or school will definitely make you want to dirty dance with yourself, or a stranger! Beware of the way she makes your feel!

Expand

I'm just gonna say this: This is one of the most rehash things I've ever heard in my life. Once again, Kylie and her comfortable popdance zone. It's very recycled, nothing classic, boring as hell and the same sounds on and on. I feel in a mix between 'Aphrodite' and 'Fever' (in a bad way).

Overall Kiss Me Once is a good attempt for Kylie to again break the American mainstream market, however it is not memorable or creative enough to become a classic.

I'm not sure if I like it or not. The whole album just kind of blends in, and no songs really grab your attention, except "Sexercise." The only other song that sticks out is "Into The Blue".

I had such high expectations for this album. There is like 3 singles that have potential to be hits. Sadly, most of the album turns out to be plain pop productions or just album filler in general. Stay away.

After listening to 'Into The Blue', I needed to purchase this album and I've never been a big fan of Kylie.
Overall, a quite solid pop album, However, "Beautiful" (even though it's a decent ballad), stops the album from being a great dance-pop album it wants to be.
Highlights: Into The Blue, Kiss Me Once, Fine.

Only have 1 negative to say about this: Worst track on the album is undoubtedly the duet with Enrique.Especially with You with Jason Donovan, as corny as that was, was even better!

Rest of the album is very listenable and I didn't find the track "Sexercize" as cringeworthy as a reviewer did on the left there. This doesn't reach the heights of X or Aphrodite which have more memorable

As many have compared this to her 10th album "X", it is a bit less cohesive than the Stuart Price-produced 11th album but ultimately the repeat-upon-repeatability of these tracks are unrelenting. Whether it's the blissful lead single "Into the Blue" giving us more euphoric Kylie in all her anthem glory, the pick-me-up Pharrell-penned "I Was Gonna Cancel", "Body Language"-inducing "Sexercise" or incredible standouts "If Only", "Les Sex" and "Kiss Me Once" (can you really pick one?) - It's an ultimately sparkly and sleek inspiring album that again and again reminds "You’re going to be fine."

To those that argue that this album lacks personality or depth, I can only ask that you go back and give Minogue's catalogue another listen. This is an evolution, not a revolution - and what a sweet one it is.

A booming, fun pop record that is refreshing by not attempting to be anything other, though that same inessentialism keeps the record from reaching transcendence.
