And yet MORE of the same from a band who's signature sound is soaring synths and breathy, light-as-air Glaswegian vocals. The accent is the only thing to really like here (if you're not from Glasgow). Otherwise it's like everything this band has ever done. It's not unforgivable, but it isn't unforgettable either.

It remains to be seen, though, whether the record-buying public are prepared to give Glasvegas another go, but on this evidence they should. [Oct 2013, p.102]

Glasvegas is a talented band and they show this talent in flashes here. But when they settle into their niche, the overall feel is rather boring.

Polished mid-paced throbbers, alive with feedback, thumping drums and troubled lyrics. [Oct 2013, p.98]
