Dec 7, 2011Seriously i love Robin Thicke!! But this coming out with a new album every year is getting a little crazy. I found this album kinda boring and already done before. Im just over the songs about how much he loves his wife. It was an ok album i really think it was too soon to drop a new album.

Jun 28, 2012This is a soulful artist and really like his sound. This album has a sound that has sounds of the blues throughout it-which I think fits his voice perfectly. However, not really my style to listen to very often. Figure my favorite track is "Love After War" or "Cloud 9." For a quiet nite with the Misses, this will be a perfect backdrop-gaurenteed.

Dec 6, 2011Throughout his cheerful jumble of a fifth album, Love After War, he pushes both of those buttons [tight execution and a suspension of disbelief], asking you to admire his tasteful slickness without delving much deeper than the surface.

Dec 6, 2011Though his feathery coos and whispers have long been his calling card, Thicke spends most of Love After War singing in full voice, with mixed results.

Dec 6, 2011The second half is dominated by ballads made for seduction (with more than a little preening). They don't offer much in the way of development from Thicke's recent past but they should get the job done.
