Aug 18, 2018Iconic solo debut album. This album was ahead of it's time. So many timeless songs.
-
Dec 18, 2016It hops from sound to sound with little grace or warning. Too many producers with different ideas. I appreciate that in terms of pop, it was quite alternative, but it just didn't have enough consistency to hit to pop mark. Tracks like 'What You Waiting For?' and 'Danger Zone' save the album from being a totally confused throughout.

Nov 7, 2012This Album Is One Of The Most Creative Albums I Have Ever Heard! Love Her Voice! Best Debut Album Of 2004!
-
Mar 11, 2012Great album! Only Gwen could pull this kind of thing off. This not only has pop in it's finest form but also has pints of rock, ska like her work with No Doubt such as "Danger Zone" and "What You Waiting For" and it also has an 80's feel to it with the song "The Real Thing" GREAT ALBUM!

JayMDec 25, 2006An exceptional jewel of a pop album, each song is a different personality and a complete masterpiece in and of itself. Producers, Dr. Dre, Nelle Hooper, Tony Kanal, and the Neptunes have helped Stefani craft possibly the best album of the 2000s

NickMDec 9, 2006Usually I am not a fan of this type of music, but I found this cd to have a lot of catchy songs on it, and overall is just a fun cd to listen to. Maybe it isnt the most artistic cd, and its deffinatly not the most sophisticated, but it does provide some fun.

BorisfSep 24, 2006though Gwen sometimes sounds like shes stretching her voice too far the album is a refreshing splash of color in todays black and white music scene she proves she can handle almost any type of music: hip hop. pop, dance, rock, & R&B

36ThoughtlessJun 29, 2006All I have to say is...Fuck you, Gwen Stefani for blaspheming Fiddler on the Roof with your whining, proboscised shit for vocals.

wadevMar 5, 2006With this first solo attempt,Gwen was not trying to make a statement - this album in her own words was just an omage to all the great music she grew up with. Not NO DOUBT,not neccessarily better, but decadent & wonderful in its own right.Adventurous, different from anything else &a breathn of fresh air to the industry....congrats! Brave!

KyleighHFeb 11, 2006This was a good debut album for Gwen Stefani. She has really broken out of her "No Doubt" years. I hope that Gwen Stefani comes out with a sophomore album soon because this album is pretty popular.

-
BobDec 14, 2005pretty good stuff. at times it gets a little slow, but that doesnt matter. danger zone + what you waiting for are the best songs ever. good pop/techno/sweetness

-
christianvNov 19, 2005just dumb lyrics, and cheezy pop, cheap pop, and a werid selection of songs, dont buy this shit, it sucks!!!
-
-
YoyoMaNov 19, 2005Gave it a 1 because the album as a whole makes a pretty good coaster. Post-No-Doubt Gwen's suck factor is so great it transcends all boundaries - finally something the world can agree on.

-
AndrewHNov 6, 2005Absolutely flawless as long as you take it at face value- as a fun, dumb dance album. Even the 'low points' ("Long Way to Go," "Luxurious") are good and the high points ("What You Waiting For," "Bubble Pop Electric," "Crash," "Danger Zone") are pure brilliance. The best record of 2004 hands down.

-
DwightBNov 1, 2005It's a fun pop record, that isn't made to be taken seriously, if she wanted to make a serious record she would have come out with another No Doubt disc. It's catchy, cool and stylish.

Awards & Rankings
-
LAMB has one mega-hit, one okay song, three stillborns, and seven full-fledged embarrassments.
-
An ultra sleek and, it has to be said, generally impressive, 80s-inspired party record.
-
The subject matter on the indistinguishably titled Love, Angel, Music, Baby is painfully mainstream throughout.
