Fantastic. An album that represents Cudder's return to what he left open on The Legend Of Mr. Rager.

Top notch production and a different Cudi, the album fits well in with previous installments to perfectly end a trilogy. Superb.

An unexpected, but pleasant addition to the man on the moon trilogy. Cudi delivers beauitful flows and melodies over beats executed to perfection.

There's no orchestra in the album unlike cudi's previous albums which took a moment to accustom to

Amazing piece of art. Kid Cudi has truly redeemed himself and also establishes his spot in today's mainstream rap. He uses an amalgamation of sounds that have evolved since the last Man on The Moon and then incorporates it with his iconic sound to create a blissful listening experience.

Perfect addition to an amazing trilogy. Even the ones who gave up on Cudi years ago have to admit that he didn't disappoint this time! The moon man is back!

Worthy of the name. Something for everyone in this album. This album deals with the isolation that faced Scott the first two albums with a twist.

Having been a long time cudi fan.. the excitement I had for the arrival of this third man on the moon album was indescribable. It’s been on repeat since it was released. I guess it was a little natural to have some skepticism that this album wouldn’t live up to the first and second man on the moon... but, my god.. it exceeds all expectations I had! For those of you who want to hear a return to the MOTM wait till you get to acts 3 and 4 and The Void starts. First part of the album is more modernistic with some great features but the second half of the album is where we get that sound we are all used to. Listen to The Pale Moonlight and tell me that you don't get goosebumps! I was waiting for this album for 4 albums!

This new instalment in the man on the moon franchise fits perfectly into the trilogy. Not only do we get the old Cudi vibes on this one, but it also shows how much Scott Mescudi has developed in terms of his own life as well as the style that he brings to on the table. Its the ability to convey his feelings to his fans through those little things like his hums or the cadence that he goes in and out of that has brought him this far. And with Man on the moon 3: The Chosen, Kid Cudi has delivered his most well rounded solo project to date. Expand

Legit made an account to specifically talk about how amazing this album really is. I’m a fan of Cudi overall, but I do recognize consistency is something he hasn’t really shown throughout his career (*cough cough* Speeding Bullet to Heaven). That being said, this album offers such a unique listening experience that makes the hour long album pass quickly. The bears are fresh, the influences are clear, and Cudi is finally getting a grip on his sound/style that works for him. People will always refer to the old “I liked when they did this or that back then” type of argument, however I’d just like to point out that we have to give Cudi credit here for reaching far and beyond to do something more experimental and not just sticking to one sound/style. Overall great listening experience and I highly recommend you give it a listen when you aren’t busy with anything important and see where it takes you. Expand

A perfect end to the Man on the Moon trilogy. Whilst he strays a bit away from his own style in the first two acts, he somehow pulls off that psychedelic trap sound very well. Later into the album you start to hear more of that Man on the Moon-esque sound that really completes the experience.

This is Cudi truly at his best, on the man on the moon 3 he uses all the tools he's built since the last installment to come through with what I believe is the album of the year.

Cudi wrestles with the same struggles that have plagued him since he began sharing the complexities of his internal world, but at its best, Man on the Moon, Vol 3: The Chosen shows that years of struggle have yielded substantial growth.
