Aug 28, 2020Mal album para un grupo tan bueno, esperaba mas de ellos siendo un grupo tan dedicado.

Jul 7, 2020This is the first K-POP album I am reviewing. I loved the song called 'Boy with Luv'. It is a great collaboration with Halsey. Other songs in the album are good as well.
-
May 20, 2020The lyricism in this album is so bad. Dionysus and Boy with luv didn't make sense. Microcosmos is annoying.
-

Feb 22, 2020The album is really cool. I really love the Dionysus song style. Even if it’s just an ep, I felt like it’s better than some other singers full album tho
-
Feb 22, 2020This album marks the start of their map of the soul series which takes inspiration from the psychological ideas of Carl Jung. The EP explores layered identities throughout seven amazing tracks.
-
Feb 22, 2020Beautiful lyrics and a amazing set that’s made me cry love it so much thank you bts
-
Feb 22, 2020Pop perfection. Boy with Luv is an amazing title track that doesn't get old even after hundreds of listens. Other highlights on the album for me are Mikrokosmos, Home and Dionysus.
-
Feb 22, 2020Great mostly bright songs. Beautiful lyrics, greatly produced, flawless vocals. Overall a really great album.
-
Feb 21, 2020Two words: is art. This album is very awesome I really impressed.

Feb 21, 2020Simplesmente um dos melhores álbuns que já escutei, felizmente fã de artistas.
-
Feb 21, 2020The album is amazing. The songs are all bops and the themes of every song are interesting and really give you something to think or introduce you to something new to learn. BTS did their magic again and I'm so grateful I found them. They make my live a lot better and kinda give it purpose. And they help me so much
-

Feb 21, 2020It's an album full of love. All the songs are so pretty and have a cheerful and energetic vibe. However, through the album, they included lots of meaningful messages and had deep theories. I really enjoyed it. Tysm

-
Feb 18, 2020This is lit. Best album i've ever heard. You guys aren't dissapoint me!! Keep it up keep it up
-
Feb 18, 2020A good album but after the masterpiece that is Tear, this album doesn’t compare. Sonically it’s good but not as cohesive as Tear. The production on this album is amazing as usual and they really stepped it up with the vocals. The standout track on this album is definitely the old school r&b infused song HOME.

-
-
Feb 13, 2020This is so good oh my god I wait for the New album this year, I Love soooo much
-
Feb 6, 2020The album brings a milestone in K-pop history, but in its basic sound sins for having average songs, including on its main single. Sound comes to be of large and small peaks, but it is not enough to be something unpleasant, since its production and composition becomes totally spectacular and great that draws attention.
-
Jan 10, 2020just woah. bts out do themselves everytime with all of their albums and mots persona is one of it
-
Dec 30, 2019Shaped my life and literally the best piece of art to ever exist. BTS are the standard other artists need to comply too
-
Dec 21, 2019The worst album of 2019! There is no uniq songs in that. Why people support that?

-
Oct 26, 2019um marco sem precedentes! totalmente perfeito e sem defeitos. quem discordar é nazista.
-
Oct 24, 2019One of their best albums yet. My favourite tracks are HOME and mikrokosmos.
-
Sep 19, 2019This album clearly shows their evolution as artists. Well-chosen and written songs. Jimin and Seokjin voices get an incredible highlight here and value every song.
-
-
Sep 8, 2019map of the soul: persona consegue ser um dos melhores álbuns de 2019 com apenas 7 músicas, não é quantidade é qualidade. kings
-
Aug 31, 2019
-
Aug 30, 2019Simplemente es una obra de arte! Los géneros musicales utilizados son variantes entre cada canción, están muy bien producidas y las letras son hermosas, esperanzadoras y reconfortantes.
-

-
Aug 16, 2019Map Of The Soul: Persona is more Pop-orientated than their previous projects, what came out of this one great song after the other.
-
Jul 23, 2019A great mini album, MOTS:PERSONA It gives you emotion, euphoria and reflection. The most amazing song for me is Dionysius, where they deliver a vibe inspired by Japanese rock, I can't explain. Just know I loved it!
-
Jul 11, 2019Terrible, just another generic and boring album filled with the most naive and obnoxious tracks. I like the fact that they just use "Love Yourself" trends and Mental Health issues to boost their album sales. Congratulations, it worked. The problem is it's not gonna change anything especially with those generic tracks.
-
Jun 23, 2019While making a record that is purely dedicated to their fans, BTS may have lacked the charisma and flavour that made Love Yourself: Tear an extremely great pop record. There are some tracks that showcase their performances but this is probably one of their weakest records to date.
TOP TRACKS: Intro: Persona, Boy With Luv (ft. Halsey), HOME
AVOID TRACKS: Mikrocosmos -
Jun 9, 2019easily their most forgettable album. boy with luv, mikrokosmos, make it right and home are the most boring generic songs from them yet, and i’m sorry but the rap in jamais vu completely ruins the song. intro: persona and dionysus are okay, but get repetitive and lose their flavour pretty quickly. not my favourite album by them

-
Apr 30, 2019BTS' body of work has a psychological and self-care meaning. The production has occidental influence, for example in Mikrokosmos and HOME can be identified the One Direction and Bruno Mars "style" respectively. The lyrics are well structured, except Dionysus, in which has demonstrated how forced and stiff an outro song can be. 69/100
-
Apr 29, 2019It is a nice album but there are some messy songs unfortunately there's only 1 good song!
-
Apr 25, 2019BTS did something surprising, even with the same style as always, it came to be something unprecedented and as always did not disappoint. Really they are dominating in this mini album, it does not have an aspect that can confuse or speak that has something to improve.
-
Apr 23, 2019This album is honestly amazing. It may have slipped under the radar for some, but I am so glad I got to experience it. It has a feature from an artist whom I don’t particularly care for, and stilll was amazing. This group is doing such a great job paving the way!
-
Apr 17, 2019Every BTS album is different. BWL is bright and cherry, a stark difference to Fake Love and Idol. Every song is produced and written by BTS, they believe in their music and it shows. Looking forward to future albums.
-
Apr 16, 2019Their just keeps getting better. The very interesting addition of Greek mythology and Jungianism makes the album and its lyrics much more fascinating.
The marriage of rap and vocals continue to impress the listener. -
Apr 16, 2019What surprised me the most about this album was the depth of its lyrics, some bordering a sense of melancholy, going along with catchy and happy pop/R&B melodies. Very nice to see artists with such compromise of bringing something new and so experimental.
-
Apr 15, 2019BTS has such a capacity to be a star group, but some melodies, compared to old songs let a taste of discase, so i think, bts can do something better, their title song is very simple, i can't see anything catchy for me, their b-sides let a taste of sadness. i was hoping more.
-
Apr 15, 2019The album is the most organic of the group, something direct about knowing who you are and what you want. Knowing you need something and knowing you need to put things aside (like pride) to ask for help. The artistic quality is surprising and even if I was not a fan, I would become this album and surely it would be possible to feel safer about it when analyzing the entire discography of the group.
-
Apr 15, 2019this album is simply marvelous, reveals the best thoughts of the BTS and its affection for the fans, an album full of concept and true plurality.
-
Apr 15, 2019
-
Apr 15, 2019A very expansive album with good lyrics and catchy melodies. A mix of pop genres, hip-hop and R&B that touches you from the beginning until the very end. The kind of album that makes you enjoy every second of it and brings you happiness.
-
Apr 15, 2019Love this album so much. It's beyond my expectation. Theyre not afraid to try something new.
-
Apr 15, 2019
-
Apr 14, 2019Once again, BTS delivers a master class on how to make state-of-the-art pop music. Even at its less-engaging moments, the album sets a lofty standard for the rest of the pop industry - challenging all others to keep up. If a Renaissance in pop music is happening, they’re at the forefront of it.
-
Apr 14, 2019
-
Apr 14, 2019The diversity in this is insane and they manage to pull off every genre. Particularly enjoyed the connections to both Carl Jung's work AND their own discography.
-

-
Apr 13, 2019
-
Apr 13, 2019Song titles like Persona, Mikrokosmos, Jamais Vu, Dionysus already exhibit how innovative this album is. It's an album that has a story to tell. Even if you don't understand Korean lyrics, the music production of each song effectively conveys the message. And if you delve into the meaning behind the lyrics, you'll find beautiful metaphors.
-
Apr 13, 2019With a theme rooted in Jungian psychology and Greek mythology, this album contains songs of different genres that cohesively tell one story—a story for the listener to find out. Music and lyrics are of excellent quality.
-
Apr 13, 2019I don't understand how they manage to make even better albums each time. They surprise me every time. I was totally shocked by Boy With Luv. This is the first time when the title track is actually my favourite song on BTS album
Overall such an organic and healing piece of art. Love it. -

Apr 12, 2019This album is everything! Loved every second of it! Glad that BTS are back to making music for the world! Every track had its own unique flare that made the album!
-
Apr 12, 2019Once again BTS has proven themselves to push boundaries with this comeback. It's a fresh pop album that's super soothing to the ears. Throughout the album, there's a type of happy and hopeful atmosphere that the album holds, and the poetic nature of the lyrics just adds on. Overall, wonderful job and many congratulations to the boys.

Apr 12, 2019
-
Apr 12, 2019As always they innovate and show something totally different from the expected and surprise me, they never disappoint me
-
Apr 12, 2019Just mind-blowing. This album is the beginning for a new and beautiful journey in the BU (Bangtan Universe). It is really great to see a boygroup that, despite being the biggest boygroup in the world right now, didn't lose it's personality and essence. Map of the Soul: Persona shows how talented, hard-working and passionate (for their music) BTS is.
-
Apr 12, 2019With the presence of Greek myths and exploitation of psychoanalysis through Jung, BTS shows what is lacking in the pop artists of today: identity. A cohesive album, with music gender variability and production, shows why they are one of the biggest groups nowadays.
-
Apr 12, 2019An interesting take on the Jungian theory that inspired it. Their most mature sound to date when it come to melodies and composition. They also were not afraid to experiment as seen in Dionysus a track inspired by Seo Taiji's music.
-
Apr 12, 2019The album is innovative, impressive and versatile. BTS again showing they can adapt to any style and they are amazing artists. Stop the xenophobic comments and take the time to get to know their work. They compose and produce their own songs, have initiative and are now having a good publicity. This new era is going to be huge. STREAM MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA

Apr 12, 2019
-
Apr 12, 2019perfect, is the best album ever, the lyrics, all, so perfect
jimin with his angel vocals
the subunit song EVERYTHING IS SO GOOODD a i love it -
Apr 12, 2019The album has a good production, the compositions are also cool, the music with Halsey and the last track are the best, I didn't find the album itself very good, it was not very pleasant and a setback in relation to the others of them the production / composition are good, the set not so much.
Awards & Rankings
-
Apr 26, 2019The EP moves easily through different spheres of young love, young fame and young ambition, all of it audible through coruscating backgrounds and intense vocal deliveries that channel the high-running tensions of technicolor teenage drama.
-
Apr 19, 2019A valiant and partly successful attempt from K-pop’s biggest band to move forward in their music. While they undeniably remain a success, the recycled sonics and multiple references to past music makes it hard for old listeners to let go of past glory and for the new to connect with their current music.
-
Apr 18, 2019Map of the Soul: Persona is a bold, if tempered, call to Western media.
