    Meow the Jewels is a lot better than expected, but it is still not nearly as good as the original album which kind of makes you wonder why you wouldn't just listen to that album instead.

    I only like the original RTJ2. It doesn't really need to exist. You don't really need to listen to this to make your life complete. You DO need to listen to the original RTJ2 to make your life complete. It is a little clever with the cat noises and stuff. It seems like a joke or a meme like "Meow The Jewels coming soon..." and we laugh it off but then it ends up being a real album and itsI only like the original RTJ2. It doesn't really need to exist.     This review contains spoilers. I know it's a novelty record but I do genuinely love it and let's face it it's probably the best remix album of all time. I thought it would make me want to blow my brains out but the meows and purrs have been manipulated really well to make the instrumentals so **** you. I'm also pretty sure you can summon cats with it; I was 5 minutes into the album and I saw a cat walking towards my house... The cat peeps love it. How can you disagree with the cats?… Collapse

    This is an absolute pile of trash that hipsters who hate trap music and all things trendy will bump. FOH with this super Mario 8 bit cat sounds for beats garbage.

    Whereas the original Run the Jewels 2 was a perfect soundtrack for a night of mayhem, Meow the Jewels is the comedown after all that rabble-rousing.
