Aug 1, 2023My favorite music album of all time, a timeless classic and arguably one of the most iconic albums of the genre.
-
May 9, 2023Perfecto, hermoso y lo mejor de las últimas décadas, se puede reflejar el dolor de Chester Bennington, algo que los "críticos expertos" no les gusta por tontos y por envidiosos de esta obra de arte espléndida. GOD

Feb 20, 2019This is an amazing album! It doesn't top Hybrid Theory, but it's a great follow-up to it. If you haven't heard this yet, I don't know where you lived Pick it up! Fav tracks: Lying From You, Hit The Floor, Don't Stay, Nobody's Listening, From The Inside. Pickens approves!
-
Jul 31, 2018Best CD I have ever bought and best Album I have ever listened to!! Chester’s vocals along with Shinoda’s rapping makes it triumph to be one of their best works!!!!

Mar 10, 2018Although might seem like a redo of Hybrid Theory, this album tries a lot of new things and succeeds much more than Hybrid Theory and has aged much better too. Don't Stay is an awesome opener, Numb is a brilliant closing track and deserved the success it's gotten and other tracks show Linkin Park at their best like Hit the Floor, Nobody's Listening, From the Inside and Easier to Run.
-
Jan 7, 2018Meteora is an step foward for Linkin Park from their debut album...Their best album with losts of memorable songs and rhyms, the production is better then again than their predecessor. it's Remarkable the way the band put out their feelings into their songs and makes you feel less alone, accompained and understood

Oct 9, 201710000000000000000/10. This is the perfect album. Everything about it is perfect. The production, the lyrics, the singing and rapping, EVERYTHING!! If you are a fan of rock, you need to pick up this album. It is one of the only albums I've bought, instead of listening to Spodify. This is my favorite album of all time. Thank you, Linkin Park. RIP, Chester Benington. 11/10

A little bit better than Hybrid Theory and better than everything Linkin Park released after Meteora. -
May 21, 2017Amazing album! Great rock, a bit emo, but it's really great. Totally recommended. k k
-
May 19, 2017This and Hybrid Theory are one of the best albums. Great songs that are timeless. Especially the songs Somewhere I Belong, Numb, Faint and Breaking the Habit. This album was a great follow up for HT.
-

Nov 18, 2016That point from were Linkin Park went completely wrong was neither A Thousand Suns nor Minutes to Midnight. It was Meteora. If this album doesn't prove that they've sold out - then I don't know what does?

Apr 15, 2016Their best album. I found all the songs catchy and the lyrics are pretty good. I love "Numb", "Somewhere I Belong", "Breaking The Habit" and "Easier To Run" those are so nostalgic for me.
-
Mar 13, 2016I loved it! This and Hybrid Theory are the best of Linkin Park! All songs are powerful with an amazing nu-metal sound. If you are a metal fan and you loved Hybrid Theory, then get ready for another masterpiece from Linkin Park.

Sep 24, 2015Linkin Park may prefer style over substance on Meteora, but who says style can be a bad thing? Abundant with hooks and heavy riffs to satisfy the casual metal listener.

Aug 10, 2014A true masterpiece. Maybe even better than Hybrid Theory. There is not one bad track on the entire album. The best tracks for me are Breaking the Habit, Somewhere I Belong and Easier to Run. Hear it and enjoy it is my final advice.

Dec 23, 2013I love Linkin Park, and I love every song on this album. They are all amazing, the sound is superb and mysterious. They tried a lot of different things on this album, and succeeded amazingly. This album is tied for my #1 favorite album, keep on rocking Linkin Park, 10/10

Mar 8, 2013Better than Hybrid Theory, but it's not enough. There are good songs (Numb, From The Inside, Breaking The Habit, Somewhere I Belong), but also bad tracks (Hit The Floor, Lying from You, Session) and Foreword that is absolutely useless. The others are OK.

Sep 23, 2012While not perfect, Meteora is a really great album that I thought was even better than Hybrid Theory. One of very few albums where I actually liked every single song on the album.
-
Jul 23, 2012awesome! this is the best linkin park album ever. even "figure.09" and "hit the floor" sounds poor, "faint", "numb" and "somewhere i belong" is the song you need to hear before you die.
-
Jul 2, 2012
-
Jun 29, 2012The album has few good tracks that are Somewhere i belong, Numb and Breaking The Habit rest all the album is just a considerable squeal to Hybrid Theory which to me came as mixed record..............they are now being considered a band of fame...................Living Things is Better
-
Jun 28, 2012A damn fine album that contines the anger and lyrical themes of Linkin Parks first album, Hybrid Theroy as well as using as little swearing as possible.
-
Jun 27, 2012What separates Meteora from other Nu Metal / Rap-Metal acts is it's wonderful ability of being able to survive countless listens and never becoming tired.
-
Jun 23, 2012Omg an 8.3? more like a 12.3. This album is just as good as Hybrid Theory so as many of u (should) know, this album is flippin awsome. Linkin Park has marked themselves as one of the greatest music artist today.
-
Jun 21, 201288/100
Here and there songs, but still a very good album. There was three songs that caught me and got it its review now, and those where Numb, Faint, and Somewhere I belong, very good songs. -
Feb 29, 2012best **** linkin park album its so amazing and kick ass. if you don't like this album your like gay or something. like all the songs are **** amazing!
-
Feb 8, 2012By far the best Linkin Park LP ever! I really love every song in it, but my absolute favorite is "Breaking The Habits"! Linkin Park forever...
-
Jan 13, 2012IMO its the best Linkin Park album hands down. Every track on here is great, Even the instrumental. I loved this album and it is a must listen for any new fans of LP.

Nov 14, 2011Hated on so much yet its easily the best album LP has put out. Meteora is a hit from begining to end and it shows just how much you can evole from one album to the next.
-
Oct 14, 2011Is there really something to say about this that isn't perfect? From the beginning, LP does it even better than Hybrid Theory. Ignore the track ''Forgotten'' at the beginning. The whole album is pure art, still, not for everyone. And yes, the album is softer than Hybrid Theory, but better than it.
-
Sep 12, 2011
-
Aug 9, 2011Second greatest numetal album before hybrid theory of course.Agressive, meaningful lyrics and an amazing voice from chester it really deserved some grammy awards.
-
Apr 24, 2011this albums awesome but still a bit monotonous because theres not much different between Hybrid Theory and it i give it an average review because of the awsome songs and the monotony in it sure you can keep your old sound but come on the same song structures from your previous album that''s to much 6/10
-

-
Aug 17, 2010Hybrid Theory was a little bit better, but Meteora is still a very good album. Although many tracks sound similar to each other, I really enjoyed almost all of the songs here.
-
JanaFMay 24, 2009Really good album! As the others LP's albuns, meteora was perfect! Hello from Brazil.
-
-
BenFFeb 10, 2009Superb. I cannot believe this CD is so f**king underrated. What the hell is wrong with you critics? This is way better than you think. "Numb", "Faint", "Breaking the habit" etc. are very good songs.

WesM.Jun 23, 2008Yes, Lamar, people do complain about AC/DCs uniform subject matter and progressions, even so, it doesn't absolve Linkin Park's sinfully trite lyrics and exchangeable hooks. Lowest common denominator stuff for people who simply don't want to try good hip hop, substituting it with this garbage.
-
-
JoelW.Jun 11, 2008Awesome stuff! this album keeps it heavy and has just the right amount of rapping and special effects.
-
-
JosephP.May 6, 2008Their second album it continues the quality from the first, definitely a classic
-
-
whybotherApr 26, 2008an incredible blend of rap, rock and pure emotion that only bands such as "the cure" has achieved, while absolutely destroying the new album... I truly think this is the third best album ever, coming after the joshua tree and led zeppelin iv...
-
-
CamillaL.Jan 29, 2008Fantastic album! It's maybe not as heavy as their first album, and more electronical. I especially like Lying From You and Figure.09. The art in the booklet is cool but the cover is not that beautiful. Still this album gets 10 points by me.
-
-
LamarOct 7, 2007Quit complaining about LP sounding the same. AC/DC sounds the same on most records but nobody says anything about it..
-
-
JerryOct 6, 2007This is an amazing album. I don't get why some people hate it for being "fake-metal". Linkin Park never said they were metal. Meteora fits better under rapcore or alternative.
-
-
JimmySep 8, 2007Awesome! The production is slamming.
-
-
DavidAug 11, 2007Awesome record! Forget what some of the critics say because they are biased against most nu metal bands. It is true that this album is similar to Hybrid Theory from beginning to end. However, HT was also a great album and if you duplicate a great album, you'll get another great album.
-
-
InsertNameHereAug 4, 2007A great addition to any fan of Linkin Parks CD collection, but they should have just named it Hybrid Theory Part 2. Not saying thats a bad thing Linkin Park sounds great but when i listened to both CD's back-to-back i couldn't tell when one finished and the other began (only reason this didn't get a ten).
-
-
DaltonHJul 30, 2007makes up for its lack of distinctiveness with hooks and a strong sense of effort

Awards & Rankings
-
Through it all, the guys stay just as tight (translation: radio-ready) as ever, offering up tracks in near-perfect three-minute doses.
-
Coming from a group whose debut offered a glimmer of hope for the expansion of the genre's boundaries, such creative laziness is all the more disappointing.
-
While being as well-crafted, catchy and dynamic as the first one, it leaves you feeling distinctly underwhelmed, as if the band had simply reprogrammed the Pro-Tools machine that they'd made the first album on and changed the lyrics and speed of the songs a bit.
