    ____ Who else can mix such delicious musical mixes as not the guys from Metronomy? Their tracks are always distinguished by freshness, lightness and summer unobtrusiveness.
    But it seems to me that this time the British slightly went too far with the number of tracks and the variegated styles - in 17 compositions you can get lost ...

    However, those exceptional songs with surf guitars, funky bass, playful drums and ironic renditions make up for the ligament tracks.

    A wonderfully eclectic yet coherent record from a fantastic band. "Metronomy Forever" takes inspiration from their previous work to create a masterclass in electro-pop. It's range of ups and downs provides a compelling listen, each separated by quirky 'palette cleanser' tracks. With the charm of "Nights Out" and the rounded sound of "The English Riviera", Metronomy's latest album really isA wonderfully eclectic yet coherent record from a fantastic band. "Metronomy Forever" takes inspiration from their previous work to create a masterclass in electro-pop.     There is such an evolve since metronomy released "Summer 08" in 2016, they've grown so badly. M4eva is so cohesive and it mixes nights out, pip paine and summer 08 (another releases of the band) in such an incredible atmosphere.

    Metronomy Forever is a very cohesive and experimental album with all the oddities you'd expect from the English band. One thing I had hoped for was more odd pop ballads like 'Salted Carmel Ice Cream', as most of the album is ethereal and ballad oriented. Listen to: Salted Caramel Ice Cream, Sex Emoji, Lately.

    Legendary. So cohesive. Best New Album. Highlights: Ur mixtape, Lately, Lately (going spare), Walking in the dark, Salted Caramel Ice cream, The light, Sex emoji... I mean.... every song.

    With the range, depth and lyrical class Metronomy brings to Metronomy Forever, it’s quite a fun listen, one that shows how the group has evolved over their lengthy career. The electronic orchestration will leave you bopping through memory lane as you reminisce on old love.

    There’s so much to take in that it requires many listens before all of Metronomy Forever’s charms reveal themselves, in part because of the palate-cleansing interstitial drones spread across the album. It’s worth the wait.
