This album is wonderful, both the lyrics and the different melody won me, but racine carree still mais fav.

He is back and oh how worth it it is! A much more personal record. Not much "in your face" production like papaoutai, Ta fete and some of the more popular songs from Racine Caree. clearly because the goal was to fuse the different influences so much they are harder to point out and create a well structured record. Still as clever with word play as ever. Welcome back!

Out of the top, he definitely it’s the MAESTRO! The sounds coming from different places, even the “marimba” was there, it sounds amazing, traditional, it’s a crossover French to all over the world. It’s A+

How to describe this record other than, a truly stunning cohesion of sounds and instruments.

I can't even begin to act like i can pick out what kinds of sonic and writing influences are on this record. The best I can do is merely, sit back, and let the many layers and sounds wash over me... The instrumentation is truly gorgeous and well thought out. At risk of miss categorizing the

The best I can do is merely, sit back, and let the many layers and sounds wash over me... The instrumentation is truly gorgeous and well thought out. At risk of miss categorizing the genres on this album, I would describe many of the sounds to be "worldly & exotic."

If you are primarily an English speaker like myself, you should watch "Professor Skyes" video on YouTube about this. He is a French professor and gives a wonderful breakdown of the content spoken about in this album which acts as a great companion piece to actually listening...

A great return for a great artist.

Stromae's writing and composing abilities are amazing and a non-French speaker can not understand the deepness of his songs. "Multitude" is a great return after the last album, which was filled with great and diverse songs. This album is slightly different from the original Stromae style, more instrument oriented with a lot of "weird" rhythm songs

"Multitude" is a great return after the last album, which was filled with great and diverse songs. This album is slightly different from the original Stromae style, more instrument oriented with a lot of "weird" rhythm songs (which are extremely catchy). The lyrics are in the same manner, society being the main target with diverse topics. Some Stromae fans did not like the way of new songs, but, personally, I enjoyed Stromae's return and I was open with his new ideas and concepts.

A record that uses choral, electronic and orchestral features to embellish Stromae’s creativity, Multitude is crafted to be enjoyed again and again.

Multitude is the perfect return for such a formidable musical talent, serving not only as a reminder of his innovative talents, but also highlighting how much richer his soundscaping and storytelling has grown over his hiatus.
  3. The vocals are as limber as the glitching, swaying soundscapes and the whole album is a mesmerising listen that constantly surprises.
