    Could be Kanye’s greatest album of all time and possibly the 2010’s the only exception being TLOP. These songs hold an amount of grandiose and class with beautiful productions and driving into this dark fantasy is truly interesting and it all works amazingly.

    This is truly a masterpiece. I made this account just to leave this review as Eminem Stans don't seem to get the point of the song "Stan" by Eminem. This album goes through the darkest parts of Kanye's psyche, with beautiful songs with amazing production and great guest verses. Truly the defining album of 2010.

The way Kanye brings together different styles of production, features, instruments, etc to create this grand album is astounding. While he isn’t always the best lyricist, he has some of his brightest moments on this album, and there aren’t any lyrics that make me cringe or want to stop listening. He gets deep enough to boast about his lyrical ability (especially on Power) but he also does a good job of making his messages pretty easy to understand. Every feature does their part, besides maybe the Fergie verse on All Of The Lights, which might be my only true criticism to the album. I genuinely enjoy the album all the way through.… Expand

    I’ve listened to the greatest album of all time since it’s released and the way this album makes me feel is beyond words. I literally listen to this album every single day. I **** you not. Front to back everyday. While having a life might I add. I can listen to it on repeat and never get tired of it. Such a great moment in history. This will always be a part of my life forever.

    In one of the few perfect 10s of this decade, Kanye West seemingly hits everything musically on MBDTF. The production, features, lyricism, and beats make for a beautiful and conflicting listening experience. Arguably the most complete musical album of the 10s’, definitely deserves and will receive listens for years to come.

    I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop but this album is an exception. It's clearly flawlessly arranged, the lyrics brilliantly showcase emotions of the artist and, in my experience, this is his best work and the best of what the genre can offer.

    The magnum opus of my favorite artist to ever live. MBDTF is an unreal album. It is incredibly layered and meticulous, in depth with a subtle and poignant concept. The song structures, the samples, eclectic music, the incredible displays of lyricism all make this undoubtedly one of music's most iconic and unforgettable records.

Pierwsze dwa albumy Kanye Westa wyniosły hip hop z ulic na salony, piąty album Kanye Westa nadał hip hopowi rangę najprawdziwszej sztuki.

    Album łączy w sobie wszystkie dotychczasowe osiągnięcia Westa, wszystkie mocne strony poprzednich albumów, od figlarności TCD, głębi LR, przystępności Graduation, emocjonalności i eksperymentalnego podejścia 808s.

    Liryczne Kanye West stworzył dzieło bardzo kontemplacyjne, głębokie i intymne. Występuje tu jako filozof i błazen zarazem, mówi o rzeczach wzniosłych, jednocześnie bywając do bólu obsceniczny.     MBDTF is an album where Kanye's reinvention is phenomenal, and the break he took in Hawaii is that of almost miracles. This album captivates hip hop and music for all of its great elements, classical, modern and contemporary. The only issues are slight shortcomings on the last 4 tracks of the album. However the songs from dark fantasy through Runaway there is not a single fault to point out.

Gorgeous might be the best rapping performance of Kanye's career as well as arguably his best lyrics. Power is the perfect hype song. All Of theFrom the goosebump-inducing perfect intro track that is Dark Fantasy to the epic two-part outro that is Lost In the World and Who Will Survive In America (based on a sample from Gil Scott-Heron's "Comment No.1"), this album is almost flawless. Gorgeous might be the best rapping performance of Kanye's career as well as arguably his best lyrics. Power is the perfect hype song. All Of the Lights is almost a mini "We Are the World" considering how many artists make their appearance on the song (Elton John, Rihanna, Drake, Fergie, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Kid Cudi and even more!). The track Monster features a strong performance by Kanye and a decent one by Jay Z, but it is Nicki Minaj who kills it on this track spitting the arguably best verse of her entire career. So Appalled does also feature quite a few names but is easily one of the weaker cuts (not that there are any WEAK tracks on this masterpiece) on the album. It simply drags on a bit too long. Pusha T delivers a fantastic verse as usual though. Devil In A New Dress is built on a haunting Smokey Robinson sample and once again features a strong verse by Kanye but it is the fantastic verse by Rick Ross that make the song. Runaway, which happens to be my favorite song of all time, is pretty much the perfect song in my opinion. Kanye's vulnerable vocals and lyrics, Pusha T's verse, the lengthy outro of distorted vocals. The piano, oh god the piano. The album is already an incredible work of art before Runaway but Runaway gives it that extra boost which makes it one of the greatest albums ever made in my honest opinion. Hell Of A Life works great at a workout track but feels almost unfinished. It's still a good track nonetheless but the production work, as well as the lyrics, don't match the calibre the rest of this album has to offer. Blame Game features Kanye in a vulnerable state once again and although the Chris Rock outro might get tiresome after the 100th listen, it was still a great idea to add him to the track. I just wish his part was a skit after the song, which I think would have given the track a better replay value. Lost In the World / Who Will Survive In America rightfully serves as a perfect closure to an almost perfect album. Superb production, fantastic features, and great lyricism. The whole album features a unique and beautifully epic atmosphere that sticks with you throughout the whole album.     Lot of influences, for example Iron Man or 21st century schizoid man. Killing beats and good lyrics as well.

    Metacritic only allows a whole number rating system, so I rate a lot of albums a 10, but this is truthfully the only album I consider to be a genuine, flawless, 10/10 record. This album has been on regular rotation longer than any album I own. The production, the verses, the collaborations with Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, and Rick Ross has made this such a diabolical rap album. A twisted fantasy that most music    Where do I start?

    This is the album that not only redeemed Kanye during really tough times, but gave him a place as one of the most influential artists of our new millennium, with an incredibly artistic insight. The production, the verses, the collaborations with Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, and Rick Ross has made this such a diabolical rap album. A twisted fantasy that most music listeners would be happy to give a listen to. The great Mike Dean is what also brings this album to life. The crafty, kaleidoscopic sounds that are both holy and unholy make MBDTF a magnum opus to the very end. Emotional tracks like Runaway, Gorgeous. Devil in a New Dress, and Lost in the World takes Kanye out of the "rapper" label and into immortality as THE "orchestrator".

    There is undoubtedly a few missed opportunities and a bit of filler inside this project, but its consistensy and raw emotion far overshadows any flaw that this album may have. Despite the controversy that Kanye has collected as a celebrity, he refuses to let it take him down. He did what he is best at, and that is making soulful music. The verses on "So Appalled" were that of a near perfect chemistry that efficiently fits into the blueprint. The combinations of glorious vocals with steady drums in "Lost in the World" makes a true connection to those who give this album a listen. There is so much, yet too little when talking about this album. A perfect 10 from the very beginning.

    This album is a masterpiece from kanye and it's still the best album of the decade so far , the production is stunning and kanye's way of mixing up different genre of music is amazing i mean this is still a hip hop record but even if your'e not a fan of hip hop i'm sure you'd still enjoy it

I haven’t listened to enough of the artist’s other albums to say definitively if this is his best to date, but it’s hard to see how it couldn’t be. In fact it’s among the best hip-hop albums of this decade, up there with The Roots’ Undun and not farMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy from Kanye West, released in 2010, in spite of a few quibbles, I can say is an exceptional achievement. I haven’t listened to enough of the artist’s other albums to say definitively if this is his best to date, but it’s hard to see how it couldn’t be. In fact it’s among the best hip-hop albums of this decade, up there with The Roots’ Undun and not far behind Kendrick Lamar’s masterpiece To Pimp a Butterfly. Kanye has tendencies that can bug me a little, his ambition can get the better of him and a few songs probably drag on a little too long. But the overall inventiveness, fun, and equal parts profane and poetic lyrical quality, far outshines whatever flaws there are. There are thirteen tracks, one being an interlude and another, the final track, being a short beat that doesn’t really have Kanye at all. On the 11 remaining songs Kanye West shows that he is, whatever one thinks of him personally, an unquestionable talent: a rapper with strong voice and strong instincts for collaborations. His works here with known quantities like Jaz-Z and Nicki Minaj and lesser known artists are extremely well crafted, none better in my opinion than the bumping track “Monster” which has both mentioned artists, and “So Appalled” and “Gorgeous” are also a standouts; no song feels overly cluttered by too many artists, though a few are a bit uneven. The ones where Kanye is the sole singer or dominates the song are equally impressive; at top of those tracks has to be “Power”, and I also love “Dark Fantasy”. There’s no bad song, and the journey takes you actually has some profoundness in its own brash, profane, sexual way.… Expand

    Possibly the best produced album of all time. Combine this production with the plethora of incredible verses, not just from Mr West but from featured artists like Nikki Minaj, Pusha T and Rick Ross and you have one of Hip-Hop's finest works.

    If I could give this a 11/10 I would. This is the best album I've ever heard from Kanye, and the 3rd best album I've ever heard. Incredible production, masterful lyrics, and some of the best singing I've ever heard from the guest artists. 10/10
