DanielMar 15, 2005Setting the whole "indie vs. mainstream" thing aside, this is just a really solid, nicely atmospheric record. It isn't Ladd's best (Welcome to the Afterfuture and In What Language? are my favorites), but it's still a cut above most of what's out there, indie or mainstream.

This is one of Ladd's most accomplished albums to date, proving once again that he's one of the most forward-thinking artists around.
