    This is probably one of the best tribute/cover albums to come out in the past decade. It's definitely not an album for everyone though. It will require quite a few listens to appreciate fully. It takes some of Nina's best recordings and turns them into twisted, bizarre, beautiful and moving tribute memoirs of her successful career.

    There is something very powerful about these interpretations, as Stewart and his crew cut past the elegant phrasings and the precise constructions of Simone’s songs, and expose their bruised and bleeding vulnerabilities.
