I don't remember anything about this album, that's how bad it is, although I know this was done for fun, it still sucks. There's a few songs like the track with H.E.R. and the one with Eminem and 50cent, maybe even the one with Bruno Mars, that are catchy, but overall? full of skips, everything else feels really bland.

Not gonna compared this album with any of the main three (+, x, Divide) because it's not a follow up, it's a side project. But if you compare it with No. 5 Collaborations Project, which is its predecessor, it falls short in all senses.
Good thing this was album was not meant to be serious.

A great side project while Ed Sheeran is recording his next studio album of lo-fi acoustic type songs, and deserved to receive a grammy nomination for best pop album. Plenty of catchy tunes with all the featured artists, along with a few deep cuts.

Ed Sheeran builds an empty album again. He sounds emotionless and afraid of being trespassed in the music industry. The artists that participate on the album just want to be supported based by the posterior Ed's success. They need to know that is him who needs help.

I am so disappointed in Ed Sheeran. His “No.6 Collabortations Project” is the second worst album I have reviewed. This is because all his creativity is gone. He relies on the collaboration part itself to save an album that didn’t need saving in the first place. If he had done this album in the Ed Sheeran way, this would have been really cool. Instead, he thinks sharing this album with “bigger names” will make more people listen to this album. As a result, the lyrics quality took a steep downhill along with its musical creativity, replacing it with the same drum track and too much autotune. The Project forsakes everything I liked about Ed Sheeran, so at this point what does the album have going for it? Nothing. This album blends in perfectly with all the other music coming out today. While Sheeran’s other work is made up of masterpieces, No.6 Collaborations Project is woefully un-special. Highlight: BLOW.

The album just feels empty and seems like an excuse for a ton of featurings. Most of the lyrics sound somewhat cheesy and repetitive and lacks creativity and finesse. Ed Sheeran's rap parts were not that pleasant to listen to, and the beats were all generic as well. The saving graces have to be Antisocial, Best Part Of Me and I Don't Care.

That's a horrible project, Ed Sheeran chose the worst sounds to take that step. It's a totally bad thing of sound, and its totally commercial and massive production seems a combination of the discards of his last albums and nothing works well within it. Some such good songs aren't enough to invent the new one and i expected from Ed Sheeran. Sounds like songs you'd listen to on a Friday in a bar.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As someone that likes Camila, H.E.R., Khalid, & Ella Mai, I was expecting to like multiple songs off this album. Since I’ve been disappointed by past horrendously overplayed Ed singles like Shape Of You, Perfect, and Thinking Out Loud, I was expecting to hate the other tracks with a passion. The album is still a mixed bag, but not for the reasons I expected. Here’s how I felt about each track:
    Beautiful People ft. Khalid 4.5
South Of The Border ft. Camila Cabello & Cardi B 4
Cross Me ft. Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock 5
Take Me Back To London ft. Stormzy 5
Best Part Of Me ft. YEBBA 3.5
    I Don’t Care ft. Justin Bieber 2.5
    Antisocial ft. Travis Scott 7
Remember The Name ft. Eminem & 50 Cent 4.5
Feels ft. Young Thug & J Hus 4
Put It All on Me ft. Ella Mai 4
Nothing On You ft. Paulo Londra & Dave 4
    I Don’t Want Your Money ft. H.E.R. 4.5
1000 Nights ft. Meek Mill & A Boogie Wit da Hoodie 5
Way To Break My Heart ft. Skrillex 4.5
BLOW ft. Chris Stapleton & Bruno Mars 3.5

Ed Sheeran’s regular lack of emotion in (or distinctly unique timbre or style of) his voice on most tracks (with some exceptions) gets regularly overshadowed by more charismatic features (Camila, Ella, Stormzy, etc.). There’s nothing wrong with his vocal abilities; they’re a bit above average. However, he doesn’t use it to its potential. These tracks all fail to really land/ hit hard. Even on the more up-tempo tracks, the minimal, lackluster production leaves much to be desired that never comes (maybe with the exception of Antisocial... and BLOW, which sounds full but cheap).

In contention for the worst album of the year, the music on this record is just absolutely horrendous. Ed Sheeran has absolutely no skill for picking out spots for features. 'Best Part of Me' featuring Yebba reaches that vulnerable core of Ed Sheeran that we all know and love. BLOW with Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton is one of the most experimental tracks Ed has done and it succeeds with Ed's grit. No. 6 Collaborations Project is a far departure from those soft vocals and talented guitar lines that made him famous, his enormous talent and unquestionable musicianship best evident in live shows and loop pedal recordings.

While I was initially disdainful of this incredibly poppy album crowded with artists, after a few listens, there's a few solid songs in there. Up and coming club hits are there, rap songs are there and even a heavy rock piece. I like the majority of them, at the end of the day. They're catchy.

However, this isn't the Ed that I and everyone else fell in love with. He's sacrificed his folk-loving fans to appeal to the larger crowd of partygoers and clubbers. I'll listen to his new album, but his songs don't connect the way they used to. His older songs - primarily from "+" and earlier - feel so personal, and you feel the connection through music.

If this album was dropped by an anonymous up-and-coming musician, I would give it a more positive review. However, knowing the beautiful, heart-rending, personal music that Ed is capable of, this falls a bit flat. If this is just a fun collaboration project and an anomaly, then I would say 8/10, but if this is an indicator of Ed's permanent new style, I am bitterly disappointed.

At the end of the day, to me music should inspire deep emotion and bring people together. I think despite Ed's claim that he is not one of the "Beautiful People", the lack of real feelings and substantial content shows that he is receding into the diamond-studded lifestyle he so condemns.

A few songs that good ain't enough to make up the residue. This album can't even be considered an 'upgrade' from Ed Sheeran's Divide. Rather, it's another low albeit his overproduction and adventurous effort. Many songs of it don't blend the collaborations properly, and Ed himself is being the guilty for many parts. Antisocial (a track from the album) is the worst one.

"No.6" doesn't have any necessarily bad songs, but, for one, it doesn't sound cohesive in any way (but maybe that's the point?). And even though no song is bad, some of them sound so uninspired, with no creativeness in them at all ('I Don't Care' is the most generic song he's ever done, and 'Feels' is so bland that it's hard to get to its end).

On the other side of the spectrum, there

On the other side of the spectrum, there are some amazing highlights on this record: for starters, the project kicks off with 'Beautiful People' with Khalid, a song that will undoubtedly resonate with everyone, with its relatable lyrics and its chill summery production. We also have 'Take Me Back to London', which is one of the best songs on here, with a chorus that is so reminiscent of Justin Timberlake, and verses where Ed and Stormzy fire beautiful bars, back and forth, at each other. 'Best Part of Me' almost sounds like it could've been on Sheeran's earlier works, and sees him stripping it back and be as vulnerable as we've all come to know him.

The second half of the project, from 'Remember the Name' to '1000 Nights', Sheeran feels like a rapper who's trying his hand at curating a diverse hip hop album, however it doesn't quite work as much as Astroworld did, and all the hooks turn out sounding almost the same. In the middle of it all, Ed introduces two love songs (one with Ella Mai, the other with HER) whose identities get lost because of the repetitiveness of their message.

It's really astonishing how Ed Sheeran can change his sound and adapt to that of his collaborators: 'South of the Border' typically sounds like a Camila Cabella song, 'Antisocial' feels like it was made for Astroworld, and it's hard to believe 'BLOW' isn't on a Chris Stapleton album. However, his own identity gets kinda lost in the process.

not a bad album, there are a lot of nice songs here - such as i don’t want your money, cross me, blow -, but it’s just too familiar to everything you hear on the radio nowadays, Ed for sure knows how to experiment, but apparently he chose to go for the basic here...

Fair play to the artist, him and his team saw a global marketing opportunity and exploited it with features from genres such as hip hop, UK grime, Latin etc. which will make then a fortune. However it's so disappointing to see an artist who was a real raw talent that threw ideas out at frenetic pace within songs sacrifice his authenticity in order to appeal to a wider demographic to get more streams much like an artist such as DJ Khaled (although hes always been **** terrible) This album was full of lacklustre and half baked ideas within songs, lazy production and chord progressions ,corny lyrics and flows, and somehow managed to make Travis Scott sound uninspired. It seems well crafted, off the cuff sounding songs from before such as Sing and You need me man i don't need you have been replaced with very surface level, shallow pop songs which appeal to the most basic of listeners with no self identity that end up latching onto the artist with the most clout.
Best tracks: Hate to be 100% negative norman here but this album was unbearable from front to back apart from Dave's verse on nothing on you and J Hus on feels actually gave some energy. Worst tracks: Could choose most the album but the five worst tracks were: • Remeber the Name/ I don't care
    • Antisocial • Blow
    • Way to break my heart • 1000 nights

There's nothing too special about this album to talk about but most of the songs are pretty good, and it's pretty consistent in it's quality overall. That's all, really

This album has Ed giving the world a masterclass in creation of pop hits. While this album isn't the most daring in his repertoire, it surely underlines his ability to provide us with a wide range of different musical styles. From rap to rock to pop, this album contains quite a few songs you won't forget anytime soon.

    WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT HERE!

No. 6 is his best music work since Multiply and I'm dying of joy and love for it.
A really magnifique and fresh production with smart lyrics are just the old Sheeran awakening finally
If Plus and No. 5 had a son, it'd be this trap pop masterpiece

Uma verdadeira bagunça sonora. O fato de ter tanta gente em um único álbum, coloca a capacidade do Ed Sheeran de fazer um bom álbum.

The album is actually pretty good. Although it does have a different sound than his older albums, but i guess that's the point, because as it says in the title it's a "collaborations project" not a sequel to his previous studio albums.

"No. 6 Collaborations Project" is more experimental than "Divide", which works in its favour, although many songs still feel indifferent. Some collaborations, such as those with Khalid, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Stormzy, J Hus, and Chance the Rapper work, while others do not contribute much to improve the song or beat.

This is really one of the worst albums I’ve heard in a really long time. Ed has none of his old charm here and gravitates from sickeningly sweet to offensively bland.

A cynic would call this hotchpotch of genres and guests a laser-guided exercise in streaming monopoly, a credibility-by-osmosis playlist primed for summer dominance. And that person would be 100% correct.

While there are plenty of people who are able to seamlessly blend their preferred musical genre with Hip Hop (Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker, Billy Ray Cyrus), Ed Sheeran isn’t one of them. And because he spent the whole album trying too hard, it falls flat, overall.

On this record, he’s taking a stab at, well, every genre. It doesn’t pay off, though, because this effort results in a sense of emptiness, an abyss of authenticity or real feeling. And that’s the problem: Despite writing “emotional” ballads for a huge part of his career, none of us really have any idea who Ed Sheeran is.
