It's not just a soundtrack, it's a whole new album. 65dos made beautiful album where they mixed up everything they do best. Best explanation for fans: imagine One Time For All Times + We Were Exploding Anyway + new ideas and sound and you will get this. It's interesting, fresh and complicated music which is easy to listen apart from game. Wild Light was just a beginning of new style.

Music, atmosphere, sense of accomplishment from exploring... this game is just such a masterpiece. It truly lives up to the hype. Talk about leaving reality and living in another universe. There are so many details, so many awesome things to discover... words can't do it justice. Play it.

A Good choice mood setting music together with a good colour palate and likeable characters and a well thought up looting system all blend together to make this one of the best space exploration games on console. As long as it can provide a continuous variety of things to do and explore and DOES NOT FALL INTO THE TOO REPETITIVE CLASS LIKE SO MANY NEXT GEN GAMES than this could quite well turn into a MASTERPIECE. ONLY 1 PROBLEM >>> Will I live to the ripe old age of 350 so I can finish & make my way to the centre of the universe? I can at least dream :) Expand

Unlike the game, music is good, If you care to check my No Mans Sky review, you will see why I hated this game. I think this music is awesome, I really like it, no need to hate on soundtrack just because it came from a trashy game.

65DOS have always been one of my favorite post bands, and this soundtrack shows exactly what the developers were going for with No Mans Sky. Ethereal, relaxing, intense, and emotional are all words that describe this album and the music of NMS.

65daysofstatic have captured the sound of space as one of excitement and exhilaration: whether you experience it in isolation or as part of the game it is certainly one worth listening to.

At nearly two hours, these two discs are an embarrassment of riches for the 65daysofstatic devotee and most likely sufficient for anyone casually interested in the band behind No Man’s Sky.

Sounding like a cross between Explosions In The Sky and Blade Runner’s director cut, No Man’s Sky may be the backing track to an untenable make-believe world, but it’s also an example of the vast and powerful reach of well-placed series of notes. [No. 133, p.61]
