    Mike has found a way to improve his musical carrier even more, with a more expressive and beautiful album. This is without doubt his best production in an album, lyrically and instrumentally.

    "No Shape" representa a evolução emocional de Mike Hadreas aka Perfume Genius, enquanto seus últimos álbuns são todos excelentes, esse se destaca pela experimentação muito certeira de novas sonoridades e também por composições muito satisfatórias. É um álbum incrível artisticamente, mas também tem um valor incrível como refúgio para os outsiders que lutam para encontrar paz e felicidade."No Shape" representa a evolução emocional de Mike Hadreas aka Perfume Genius, enquanto seus últimos álbuns são todos excelentes, esse se destaca pela experimentação muito certeira de novas sonoridades e também por composições muito satisfatórias.     His most extroverted and introspective album yet, Perfume Genius exudes confidence and acceptance of his gay identity by creating a compelling collection of beautiful, at times upbeat and at times melodic songs that has shown his progression as a musician and as a human being.

    He's a cute guy, of course, and he seems to be interested in creating songs with some sonic ambition, so I'm baffled to find out he's at his best when he's just making regular pop songs. Perfume Genius is good whenever he keeps it simple. There's a sense of dilutedness in here; There're many tracks that go absolutely nowhere, specially on the second half.

    Three years later and I can honestly say that this is one of my all-time favorite albums. I love every moment from the crystalline piano opening to the calm reassurance of the closing lyrics.

    I've never heard anything like this album, or honestly, like anything released by Perfume Genius. Whom I've only recently discovered. Melodic, sensual and at times, very dark and complex altogether. A beautiful and well refined record that I find myself coming back to at least once a week.

    Mike Handreas, has created an album with an ambiance filled with queer struggles of not "shaping" into the mold of society. With some stunning heavy synthesizers in "Otherside" and "Slip Away", but also with softer songs like "Die 4 you" and "Run me through". Truly creating one of the best albums of 2017.

    These pop-forward moments are frontloaded on No Shape, extravagant and baroque. The soaring production value is not accompanied by conceptual upending or reinvention, but rather extends into a grand sort of sequel vision of Perfume Genius.
