Aug 12, 2023Sim Simma was in my head for a week. The production is very good, the sound is truly pleasant

Apr 22, 2023very beautiful release ! I discovered her through this album, a very comforting sound mixed with heavy & thought out, raw lyrics. honestly the production always shifting during the songs, adding singing, adding strings, adding background vocals, then coming back to rap, etc, felt like i had to pause and just listen and float through i. i loved it !

Dec 26, 2022Great pallet cleanse at the end of the year. She’s delivered in back to back albums, I’d love to see features try to keep up with her

Dec 20, 2022Little Simz's answer came very quickly, and she is still using the same style, but she is getting better and better on the unexpected and not Christmassy No Thank You. Full Review On LyricsStory

Dec 15, 2022Definitely one of the best albums out of the uk. I think this actually comes across as a better album lyrically for a non concept rap album than SIMBI, its predecessor. And can one be lifted as the illmatic of uk rap. Better and more cohesive than anything prior to it.

Dec 14, 2022Sincere, groundbreaking and profound. Simz has really mastered her craft. Gorilla, Silhouette and Broken are my personal favorites

Dec 13, 2022Musically fascinating, while being extremely content heavy. Simz out does SIMBI with an album full of a familiar thoughtfulness and an evolving fierceness.
-
Dec 12, 2022A powerful record that cements an enviable three album run. An astonishing curator of experiences, bars and production Simz leaves few topics unscathed. The growth is ptoof the only way for simz is up
-
Dec 12, 2022Simz drops a very good follow up to SIMBI, but doesn’t quite reach the level that SIMBI was on.

Oct 18, 2023In true Simz fashion, conscious reflections unfold over the producer’s sprawling arrangements. NO THANK YOU makes certain that every gap is filled tastefully: bellowed vocal ad-libs and melodies (“X”); tasteful guitar tinkles (“Who Even Cares”); or sampled vocal interjections (“Heart On Fire” or “Sideways”).

UncutJan 13, 2023Her sixth is as deeply personal as it is un-self-pitying, the lyrical punches falling with even more righteous force. [Mar 2023, p.29]

Jan 3, 2023That Little Simz was able to deliver such a crafty set so soon after the career-making Introvert is impressive enough, but No Thank You stands out for its own merits.
