Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

The more I listen the more I love it. Quirky, infectious, and just plain fun, Shura's songs and voice create a niche all to herself.

A debut album heavily reminiscent of the 80s, Shura has made a remarkable effort to bring out her best in each of her songs. The BBC Sound of 2015 nominee mixes electronic, indie pop, new wave, and alternative R&B elements and combines them into one that makes Nothing's Real a reality.

Não é novo ou totalmente autêntico, mas bem feito em todos os sentidos. Ela mistura elementos já vistos na cultura pop em um álbum coeso e bem produzido.

One of the most cohesive and original releases of the year, this girl really enlightened something in me I didn't know was there for this style of music! I'll have my eyes open for her career from now on, she's just got herself a new loving and dedicated fan.
    Keep doing what you're doing!

Whilst more 80's inspired than its counterparts, Nothing's Real still has all the qualities of a terrific synthpop album. Much of this record is very dreamlike. This gives us a lot of blissful and atmospheric beats. Shura's vocals have an airy and haunting quality to them. And for the purposes of the tracks here, they work really well. An absolutely flawless debut, and one of the (if not the) best release of 2016 so far. SHURASUSLEGEND'S MASTERPIECE is so PERFECT I mean It's simply an outstanding record for a new artist like this lady who knows how to make some real good music. Madonna-like songs and very beautiful cheesy melodies are in this album...warning lol

Nothing's Real is the rare album that is both cohesive and diverse, emotional and fun, nostalgic and fresh. A pop album of a new caliber, Shura delivers on every front.

From Shura's 80's sound, and even early-Madonna reminiscent vocals, to her seamless production you can tell her music is beyond her years, and would expect an album of this caliber to come from someone who has a lot more experience within the industry.

Each of Shura's singles from this album (namely "Touch", "What's It Gonna Be?", "2shy" etc.) have been so standout, that you couldn't imagine any other tracks from the album being quite so good, but you would be wrong. Each song, including her vocal free interludes, are fantastic in their own right and will make any music lover keep playing the album on repeat.

An absolutely fantastic album, and an extraordinary debut, I cannot wait to see what Shura comes up with next. 10/10.

It’s difficult to choose just three or four songs as standouts, since at least nine of the tracks are strong candidates.

Sonically, Nothing's Real is in line with the gliding, easy-listening 80s pop that's back en vogue thanks to Blood Orange, Haim and La Roux.

Her videos make clear the subjects of these songs are often women, but on record her work is open-ended--a map to a treasure that's just never there.
