    I am SHOCKED. SHOOKED I am. This is how I'm feeling right now. It''s magnificent the way they turned the pain (abuse and traumas collected in Jamie Stewart's memories) into art, but of course, as Fiona Apple would say, "there's nothing poetic about it". Fully valid. I see this as powerfull and enjoyable to go against the parameters of what people should listen to, along the exprimentalI am SHOCKED. SHOOKED I am. This is how I'm feeling right now. "Sain Dymphna" and "Goodbye For Good" are the perfect examples of the lyrical content Xiu Xiu has been delivering for long time, and we're here to listen AND celebrate them.

    Incredible album. Saint Dymphna and Sad Mezcalita are among their best songs ever.

    ‘Oh No’ is the strongest album since 2012’s ‘Always’. This definitely is beautiful music for hard times.

    It’s clear that OH NO will not be remembered as one of Xiu Xiu’s most stellar records. Yet, as usual with collaborations, it’s likely that each listener is likely to find their own tracks they ditch, just like different ones will stand out, given the varying degrees of artistic touches these additional musicians bring with their own aesthetics and histories.
