    LoG's last self-titled album was good, but this one was better overall and more cohesive. This time around, the band recorded the songs using a different method from previous albums - they played together face-to-face all in the same recording space. This is why the album has a really "Live" feel to it. Highlights from the album are Nevermore, Vanishing, Ditch, Gomorrah, and *Grayscale*LoG's last self-titled album was good, but this one was better overall and more cohesive. This time around, the band recorded the songs using a different method from previous albums - they played together face-to-face all in the same recording space. This is why the album has a really "Live" feel to it. Highlights from the album are Nevermore, Vanishing, Ditch, Gomorrah, and *Grayscale* (best song on the album and, dare I say, their best song ever). Their new drummer Art Cruz, who replaced long-time drummer Chris Adler, has elevated the entire vibe of the band and you can see from the results. Chris Adler left for personal and creative differences. Ultimately, there is only one weak song, Denial Mechanism, which is why I'm giving the album a score of 9/10.… Expand

    The reliably uncompromising Omens includes some of the band's heaviest and most apoplectic works to date, with highlights arriving via the pummeling "Nevermore" and "Greyscale," and the unrelenting title cut.

    Omens shows some return to form, but couldn’t hold a stiff one against the likes of Ashes Of The Wake, Sacrement or VII: Sturm und Drang and that’s not at all Cruz’s fault.
