This is actually... really great. It's what Hip Hop albums are supposed to be.
    ® Beautiful Instrumentals
® Clever As Hell Lyrics Throughout ® Nice Mixture of Braggadocio and Deeper Social Commentary ® Awesome Hooks ® Great Flows to Verses I mean, there's a weak moment here or there. All The Way Up with French Montana is just okay, Go Crazy is pretty unfocused, and How Can I Forget is

I mean, there's a weak moment here or there. All The Way Up with French Montana is just okay, Go Crazy is pretty unfocused, and How Can I Forget is just not a good song. But other than those, the album is great all the way through. -Justin Howell

surely not the comeback that Fat Joe and Remy Ma were expecting with this álbum, i mean, it's alright, but by their standards its falls flat, All the Way Up, How can i forget? and Cookin aren't enough to boost this album to success

With both touching on their experiences in the prison system and their rise to the top of the food chain, Plata O Plomo is a triumphant return for Fat Joe and Remy Ma.

Collaborations like this work best when there’s some meaningful contrast between the performers, though, and Joe and Remy Ma are too similar to establish any kind of yin/yang dynamic.

Fans of either rapper will enjoy hearing them together for an entire album. The effect doesn't wear out and Plata o Plomo ends up being a worthwhile addition to both discographies.
