Really liked it. Roddy has a lot of talent and he's also a very versatile artist. He can create tracks to get turnt up to (The Box) but also very personal tracks like Prayers To The Trap God.

There's a lot to like here. The songs are incredibly catchy and there are some deep cuts that allow you to understand Roddy as a person. From the gentle and layered gospel trap record like War Baby, or the acoustic guitar trap ballad like Prayers to the Trap God, or the voice-inflected beat of The Box, there's a lot of different sounds being thrown onto the canvas here. Not everything sticks, but it's an admirable effort and makes it clear he has more ideas than most any trap artist.

There is still a lot of possible improvement from Roddy. The album lacked any real direction or cohesion. And, while his vocal chameleon style is endearing, he has yet to really find his voice. It's very possible there is a better album in the horizon for him, as he is clearly a musically gifted, fun and thoughtful young trapper.

Roddy proves in what ways he keeps to the name of his unreleased Kendrick collaboration, which, if it were on this album, would have made it a 10/10 for me. But this is one of the AOTY for me either way!!!

This is extremely strong for his first album. The songs on here have meaning, good production, verses and hocks. I am excited for his next project.

When i first listened to roddy ricch, i thought his sound was very Common and he didnt exactly execute it in a way that would Get you intregued. But this album is very good, he shows of his ability to make great hooks on almost every song on the album. And the final song with the choir is just a masterpiece. I didnt expect this from a Guy who just sounded like a poor mans lil baby at first!

Most rappers would sell their soul for his ability to shape his melody to latch onto any relevant sound, but everything here feels so safe.

At times, Please Excuse Me for Being AntiSocial feels like it's trying to offer something for everyone, and it becomes difficult to locate Ricch's personality among the different window dressings. Regardless, it's a strong collection and highlights how Ricch can mold himself into different styles and keep things exciting in almost any stylistic configuration.

Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial is the type of debut every breakout artist strives for. The album flaunts commercial appeal with hints of immense potential when it becomes more thoughtful, gritty and shows off Roddy’s knack for songwriting.
