Mais um álbum "grower", atualmente não compreendido, mas futuramente amado por todos, aconteceu com o "Sweetener", e com outras artistas, como a Beyoncé com o "4", e a Rihanna com o "Anti"... a recepção crítica foi morna, mas hoje em dia são aclamados pelas mesmas que reclamaram! Temos uma ótima faixa título, que cresce a cada ouvida, e as músicas com participações são impecáveis. Apenas na primeira faixa "shut up", há uma dificuldade de absorver, mas no geral o álbum é incrível!!
    Não tem como dar 9.5, então vai um 10.0 mesmo, Parabéns!!!    … Expand

    This is without a doubt her best work yet. From low notes to showing off whistle notes, this album shows vocal growth and material growth. She ditched her usually pop upbeat songs into an r&b filled album which she has created exceptionally. The album has no skips and every track is single-worthy. A perfect 10/10.

    Sinto que esse álbum é uma mistura do Sweetner com Dangerous Woman. Ariana nasceu pro R&B e conseguiu executar esse gênero maravilhosamente nesse álbum. Foi inovador e deslumbrante explorando todas as melodias e composições a fundo.

    he album for its self contains a lot of R&B, Soul hits, but it also has some misses. Some of the tracks felt like they were missing something, but the rest of the songs, and the collaborations turned out amazing, the instrumentals and vocals on point. Ariana did a great job with this album

    This new album seems to be the third part of a trilogy that began with Sweetener and it followed with Thank U Next. An incredible good-structured album with big r&b influences that take Grande to a more nature stage. We can find a great cohesion, that one who Dangerous Woman didn't have. Best tracks: Safety Net, Off The Table and Love Language.

    Ariana has matured a lot with her musical work! We can consider it an R&B masterpiece ... With a few hints of explicit lyrics and harmonies with his angel voice! Far from being a POP album, however, an album with a sincere vibe.

    It's great to see Ariana's maturity over the years. Positions brings another view of her as an adult woman and owner of herself and leaving trauma behind. It is not my favorite album of hers, but it is a cohesive and mature album.

    A forma como ela consegue transformar sua música em um diário da sua vida, onde ela não tem medo de mostrar suas inseguranças para milhões de pessoas é de fato encorajador.
    Ariana com suas referências R&B trouxe um respiro em meio a um ano tão difícil como 2020.

Thank U, Next was such a sad album while Positions is a feel good, very fun album. And the contrast between these two makes Positions even more enjoyable and beautiful to listen to. You can tell they had a lot of fun making this album, with surprising and super fun tracks like "34+35" or even "love language". Opening the album with "shut up" a track full of strings and vocal layers was a great choice, it sounds perfect as an intro not too overwhelming and definitely not boring either, it almost sounds like a dark version of a Disney soundtrack. I particularly love that she experienced with R&B throughout the album, especially on "my hair" which you can tell has a huge Mariah / 90s divas influence. Overall I think this is a fantastic album packed with very refreshing songs that closes a chapter for her, and also introduces us to a new sound that I hope she continues experiencing with in the next one. This truly is an album that Ariana was born to make.… Expand

    her best album by faaaar, she really did it for the r&b girlies!! the influences from blues and jazz are so magical! the orchestra??? insane. i love the live instrumentation, the harmonies and lyrics, everything it’s just perfect

    An album who doesn't need any catchy hit to be extremely cohesive. Grande serves her vocals as usually but now with a mature voice that reflects on mature lyrics choices.

    Honestly I feel like this is the album Ariana has always wanted to put out. This is her at her best, but with a happy background. After producing works as products of great tragedies in her life (swt after manchester, tun after her very publicized love life falling apart), she deserves to have this album that's ultimately just about her being happy.     So powerfull, i love all the songs , its very awesome,. the voices at the back are really good, i love the whistle tones. Thanks Ariana for be the best singer at the times

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
