I simply CAN NOT believe the lyrical content that people put up with days. Rap used to be about one-up-manship through the skills of storytelling. But today, its about one-up-manship through aestetic means, such as who has the best car or the best "ho" or who has the brightest chain, and no one exemplifies this characteristic more than chingy. Crap, this is crap. I can only pray that I simply CAN NOT believe the lyrical content that people put up with days. Rap used to be about one-up-manship through the skills of storytelling. But today, its about one-up-manship through aestetic means, such as who has the best car or the best "ho" or who has the brightest chain, and no one exemplifies this characteristic more than chingy. Crap, this is crap. I can only pray that hip-hop will soon be taken back by the underground, or at least rappers that rap about things that matter. I dont care about his freakin "26 rims". Why would i want to hear a rapper brag about things that I cant afford, and that nobody in the streets can afford. Please, rappers, stay true to the streets. Expand

This is a good album, nice pop mc rhymes, and great choruses from chingy here. An enjoyable album no doubt. the highlight being 'I really dont care'. This coming from a hardcore rap fan of canibus, mos def, del, nas etc... you hip hop heads need to open your ears and minds and listen to more trust me. just 'cos it blings and is commercial doesn't mean it lacks content. Peace.

This is horrible, bland, over-commerical rap of the worst sort. Chingy appeals more to adolescent females than gangstas. And his voice still sounds like an army of cockroaches crawling across a tile floor.

Pathetic commercial pop rap!We have artists liek Talib Kweli,Gagstarr,Common and Dilated Peoples who don't get recognised for their art.Having heard this album,I was disgusted.Chingy is clearly and obviously unskilled as an MC,has poor, contrived lyrics and tries to sound illiterate.

  1. It's not that the album isn't good, it's that it pails in comparison to "Jackpot."

The lack of pretense on his second album makes him an approachable Everypimp, and he gets nothing but love from [his] guests. [Dec 2004, p.138]
  3. Jackpot is superior in every aspect.
