A beautiful, beguiling and quite mysterious album that's really got under my skin. Though it's quite gentle and subtle - Rozi P's double tracked voice sits right next to your ear in the mix like she's almost whispering to you - it's also constructed with great care and skill. ‘Prize’ fully submerges the artist into a unique, eccentric, psychedelic style – allowing her to fully embrace various influences and detach her art from confinements that previous albums may have established.

Subtle complexity may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but that is yet another aspect of her music that is so impressive: unless paid close attention to, it will not appear to be all that complex. It will go down very smoothly regardless of the kind of lenses one views it through.
