Easily their best since Get to Heaven. Each track has its own personality and it's their sonically most diverse since Get to Heaven. I have to admit, over the last two albums, I'd been a little disappointed, but this shows they are back in full force!

Each track is such a banger, full of danceable beats and grooves. My personal favorites are "Teletype," "I Want a Love Like This," and "Shark Week," but every song on this will be stuck in your head for days. I don't say this lightly, I expect this to become one of my favorite albums this year, very easily.

I love Everything Everything, have since "Man Alive", this album is great, better than 95% of the stuff out there, but I've noticed when EE releases a great album "Get To Heaven" or "Re-Animator", the next release isn't as great. That's how I feel about "Raw Data Feel", some great tracks, and it sounds as if EE wanted to prove that if they were around in the 80s' they'd be one of the topI love Everything Everything, have since "Man Alive", this album is great, better than 95% of the stuff out there, but I've noticed when EE releases a great album "Get To Heaven" or "Re-Animator", the next release isn't as great. A master work from one of the greatest alternative bands of their time. If you already know the band, this will be one of your favourites of theirs. The band manage to balance a mixture of their old albums with a completely new sound. If you haven't EE before, gear up. You're really in for a treat! STAND OUT TRACKS: Teletype, Jennifer, HEX, Kevin's Car, Born Under a Meteor.

Raw Data Feel is painfully hubristic and dull. This album well and truly sucks.

Puck fitchfork is all that I really have to say here, of course a Conde Nast publication trying so desperately to be a monolith would revile against actual art.

Raw Data Feel is 14 hits in a row. I can't remember the last time a 50+ minute album went by so quickly. The first half is more streamlined pop-rock while much of the second half is more the ADHD-infused style EE is so distinct for, both sides with the same creative instrumentation and singular vocal performances. Alex and co. knocked it out of the park with the production...too much good stuff to say. AOTY for me so far. Expand

Easily one of Everything Everything's best records in their current discography. Ironically for a album called 'Raw Data Feel' this is clearly Everything Everything's most human and emotional record to date. Personal favourites include: Leviathan / Metroland Is Burning / My Computer / I Want A Love Like This / Kevin's Car.

I signed up to Metacritic just to post a few comments because of the appalling, churlish and miserable review from Pitchfork. This LP is fantastic. Great songs, beautifully produced eclectic while remaining resolutely distinctive... It's been a long time since I've listened to album from beginning to end.
The one really notable thing that this ridiculous pitchfork review neglects to

Pitchfork bookmark going in the bin.
    Highly recommended...

Having been a fan of EE for 6+ years I was a bit underwhelmed by their last 2 albums; they were fine but lacking in the quirky timings and melodic twists of their earlier material.

Raw data feel has restored my faith in their musical direction and reaffirms their position as one of the most unique talents we have the pleasure of hearing today. If you're already a fan then you'll love

Raw data feel has restored my faith in their musical direction and reaffirms their position as one of the most unique talents we have the pleasure of hearing today.

If you're already a fan then you'll love their return to unusual and challenging melodies and rhythms; a combination of fantastically awkward, nerdy instrumentation aligned with some soaring, anthemic vocal melodies which will take you back to the best parts of 'Get to Heaven' and 'Arc' that I've certainly been waiting to hear.

Yet along with this familiarity, they continue to evolve and there is no repetition or 'falling back' on previous work to achieve the feeling of familiar combined with something new, challenging and utterly unique.

Pitchfork can do one... EE lyrics have always challenged the listener. The lyrics are as much about rhythm and sound as 'words', almost 'percussive' and I don't believe they're trying to lecture anyone here; just provide unique, original music for us to enjoy.

Electronics to the forefront and AI involvement in the lyrics, however miniscule; and yet, there’s a warmth and humanity here that’s hard to fake, the product of a band that refuses to stay still.

Raw Data Feel might be the most confident album Everything Everything have ever released, but in a way that feels deeply hubristic. If this album were a person, it’d be that pompous, motormouthed philosophy undergraduate who treats seminars like extended soliloquies.

In attempting to circumvent the human mind, Everything Everything have found their heart, and made their finest album yet.
