Between the perfected vocals, excellent production, and genius songwriting, there’s not a single thing I can complain about on this album. The All Too Well (Ten Minute Version) is lyrically amazing, and keeps you intrigued with its progressive storytelling. Nothing new is one of my favorite songs of all time.Holy. Crap. The original one is a masterpiece and this one too, lots of track sound even better than in the original and her mature voice fits them better. The new tracks are great and All Too Well (10 Min Version) is as perfect as the original one, even when that seemed impossible.

    My favorites out of the vault are nothing new and (of course) All too well 10 min. I love this album more than the original and that is saying something. I am glad she now owns her own work.

In an attempt to own her life’s work and further strengthen the rights of an artist over their art, Taylor Swift released her second re-recorded album, Red (Taylor’s Version). It contains the 16 tracks from the original version, which was released back in 2012, four of its deluxe tracks, the charity single, Ronan, and nine tracks which did not made it to the final cut of the original tracklists. With this new re-recorded album, she decided to recreate a new musical space for a new era of musical sounds without leaning away from the tunes of its original production, making it clearer, less overpowered, and sounding more distinctive than the rest as evident by State of Grace, Stay Stay Stay, and most especially, Girl at Home. However, some songs lost their magic after their reanimation, which includes, Red, I Knew You Were Trouble, 22, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and Begin Again.… Expand

    The highlight of these is a ten-minute version of "All Too Well," a bitter ballad that was already one of the peaks of Red and is now turned into an epic kiss-off. This, along with excavated songs, are reason enough for Swift to revisit Red and they, not the re-recordings, are the reason to return to Red [Taylor's Version].
