    To Expand on RED seemed to be a great challenge for any artist however Taylor is not just any artist Taylor's version just blew the doors off the original Red release and her royalties did not go to Scooter Braun.
    Remaking music to avoid copyright/publishing issues has to be the most heartwrenching effort but she also added vault tracks with a 10-minute rendition of All Too Well. A Home Run!

    Her new magnum opus. Sprawling, epic, and triumphant. While nothing can recreate what it felt like to first hear Red in 2012, this is as close to that sensation as we will get. One of the greatest albums of all time has been remade into one of the greatest albums of all time.

    “RIP me. I died, dead” - basically my reaction to Red (Taylor’s Version). Although an album length of 2 hours and 10 minutes would ordinarily be considered far too long, Taylor has the unparalleled ability to keep you engaged the whole way through with her latest re-record. The same can be said about the 10 minute version of All Too Well. The record combines a myriad of genres, but that“RIP me. I died, dead” - basically my reaction to Red (Taylor’s Version). Although an album length of 2 hours and 10 minutes would ordinarily be considered far too long, Taylor has the unparalleled ability to keep you engaged the whole way through with her latest re-record. The same can be said about the 10 minute version of All Too Well. The record combines a myriad of genres, but that only adds to the complexity and depth of Red (Taylor’s Version).     Both an awesome throwback and a new collection of songs that alone would make a brilliant album. Re-recordings are insignificant for some artists but Taylor makes them special.

    My only critique of this record is that the production on *some* of the older songs seems a little too reverb-soaked. However, this is a PERFECT album otherwise. The new “from the vault” songs are absolutely fantastic!! “Better Man” and “Nothing New” and “I Bet You Think About Me” are as good as any songs she has ever written. The inclusion of Phoebe Bridgers on “Nothing New” is a reallyMy only critique of this record is that the production on *some* of the older songs seems a little too reverb-soaked. The inclusion of Phoebe Bridgers on “Nothing New” is a really wonderful decision because it helps the themes of the song hit even harder (the relevance of artists throughout time). “Better Man” is a poignant and powerful anthem for anyone who has ever fallen in love with someone who wasn’t right for them, or someone who wasn’t healthy for them.

    “I Bet You Think About Me” is an outstanding and earnest display from country Taylor. Chris Stapleton’s harmonies add a gorgeous layer of warmth to Taylor’s main vocal melodies and the song has a ton of heart and longing. “Message In A Bottle” feels like one of Taylor’s first-ever steps into full pop music and it has a delightfully light and upbeat energy, while still retaining a core of genuine emotional resonance. It’s a hint at the pop greatness that would come with 1989.

    “Forever Winter” has some beautiful horn lines and gorgeously expressive vocals from Swift. Ed Sheeran and Swift craft some stunningly sweet vocal harmonies on “Run,” while Swift’s version of “Babe” proves that it should have been her own song all along. And then there’s the behemoth “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” a true masterwork of a song (it’s really more of a short story or an emotive tone poem) which further cements Swift’s place in the very top echelon of popular songwriters. The song is like a heartbreaking novel packed into the framework of a long, meandering path of dreamy pop music. The gentle guitars twist around Swift’s voice and lyrics like a steady stream of water, showcasing her confessional lyricism and making a case for Swift as being one of the all-time greatest storytellers in music. Its passion and artistry are raw and timeless.

    This version of Red seems to be more self-aware, somehow pulling all the disparate influences present on the record together in a way which highlights the versatility and greatness of the one and only Taylor Swift. Highly recommend this album!!! :)    … Expand

    This version of Red is sharper, grander and more intriguing somehow that the original. Even if it is almost ten years old, the songs of this album (as well as in Fearless) don't loose any steam by the pass of time. Also, it was worth the wait for the 10 minute version of all to well, which is, unsurprisingly, the best song on the album.

    OMG! The album is really good, a touch of fresh air to the old RED (2012), the slight changes made old songs sound totally new and the songs from the vault are beautiful, thanks to the re-recordings we can notice the maturation of Taylor's voice, in this case prioritizing his own style and voice over the instrumental and forcing his voice as in the past RED.

    Superb relaunch. The re-record ones have a bit of difference and some problems of equalization but nothing that could erase the fantastic work of this compositor. All too Well is a wonder in terms of compostion.

All of the tracks sound so current and the Vault tracks are simply outstanding! The 10 Minute Version of All Too Well is one of those songs where although it is long you don't want it to end and you don't realise that you've spent ten minutes listening to one song. And like Fearless, the maturity in Taylor's voice gives a different listening experience to the 2012 version. My favourites are Sad, Beautiful, Tragic (Taylor's Version), The Moment I Knew (Taylor's Version), Run (Taylor's Version) and All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version).     Red 2012 is Taylor's original critic's darling so I had very high expectations for the Red Taylor's Version. Somehow she exceeded all of my impossibly high expectations. Almost all the songs are clearly improved. A couple are on par with the original. The 10 min All too well is just absolute perfection. Gave me an out of body experience.

    RED aged like a good wine, the original work was already something cohesive and magnificent but this reissue with new songs and the mature voice of Miss Swift make it a journey unbridled by various feelings that surround love, only she could make the album of the year with a re-recorded album.

There are 21 tracks and by the end, for me upon first listen, songs blurred together, becoming monotonous, but that is a very wrong impression of what the album is like. Taylor's vocals are outstanding, I'll say it again that she has really improved vocally since her beginning having much stronger and cleaner vocals nowadays but her deliveries have always been flawless been perfect at conveying emotions and this album is no exception. The "from the Vault" songs are all very well written and my favorites are Message in a Bottle, All Too Well" (10 minute version), Forever Winter, Nothing New, and Better Man but I honestly love them all. The production is excellent; very crisp and clean. Also the message from Taylor on the Apple Music version was cool and sweet.     This new version is even more incredible than the original. The addition of never heard songs with the same excellent quality as the first ones makes it feel like a whole new album. Her voice is more powerful now so every single song feels more complete and what can I say about the star "All too well"? Better than expected, it feels so personal and raw, like reading her diary.

    I loved RED (Taylor's Version) it keeps the feeling of the old original songs while her vocals sound much more mature and fresh, for someone whose first cd was the og RED this album speaks to my heart. The vault tracks are also amazing and they add to the album so much. Getting ATW 10 minute version is going to definitely be a highlight in my life!

    It was literally an upgrade from her previous version. All the hype, promos and expectations are worth the wait, and even exceeded because of Taylor's strong vocals and songwriting. I love all the vault tracks, it's like I time travelled from way back when the album was first released. I'm so happy that I get to experience this era once again, now in a more powerful and relevant approach.

    I am just so blown away by Red (Taylor’s Version). If you thought Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was good, buckle up because something about Red TV is even more magical. Not only are the re-recordings all splendid, all of the vault songs are also so good. With Fearless, maybe a couple seemed a bit out of place but in Red they all fit in, since Red was already a mix of calmer acoustic songs (Sad Beautiful Tragic) and hyper synth-heavy tracks (22). Like in Fearless TV, Taylor Swift’s songs are taken to the next level and all of them are improvements (some exceedingly so) over their predecessors. Even though most of the songs featured here are nine years old, they still retain the punch that they had back at the initial release. Some songs I was able to appreciate more this time around, especially due to the substantial improvements made across the board. I think the thing that most stood out to me was the improved mixing of the album. The whole thing felt more balanced and even the distorted synths or guitars felt more natural than they did back in the original album.

    Due to the character limit I have to omit my song-by-song commentary, which is infuriating because I have a lot to say about each track.

    Overall, I can confidently say that Red (Taylor’s Version) is her best work (so far, we’ve still got several Taylor’s Versions to go). She takes an album that was already really good and just pushes it to 11. I’m not sure how she did it, but even some of the songs that I wasn’t crazy about the first time around made deep impressions on me in this version. The newly released songs are all powerful, poppy, and totally Taylor, and it blows my mind that these didn’t make the original cut of the album. Regardless of why they didn’t, I am so glad that I am able to enjoy them now. Fans of the original will love this re-release as it is everything the original was and more. I also encourage everyone who loves music to listen to Red Taylor's Version because it truly is a work of art and one of the very best albums I have reviewed. I cannot wait for more Taylor's Versions to come out, but until then Fearless and Red were both knockouts.     I’m a RED stan. I just can’t believe I was able to reexperience this album now with clearer and crispier matured Taylor vocals, fresh production especially for Girl at Home, the never before heard from the vault tracks and ofcourse the much awaited 10 minute version of All Too Well. As a Swiftie you will never understand how happy we are for this release.

    i have never cried to a song before but Ronan did that to me.
    everything on this body of work is better than the original version like a lot.
    this version is how Red really sounds like. i love this album.

Songs, I didn't like before, are now my favourites! The "From The Vault" songs are pure masterpieces! And on top of that, All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault) doesn't feel like it's 10 minutes long and with every next listen, I feel like it shortens itself. It's impressive what Taylor has done to this album and I can gladly say, that it finally sounds like what Taylor could have imagined back in 2011/2012. And lastly, I feel like Red was supposed to sound more pop-ish back then and now it does, finally on Taylor's terms, not BMR's ones.… Expand

    This is an amazing album. It's so much better than the stolen version, it's even sadder (I honestly don't even know how's that possible) and All Too Well (10 Minute Version) has got to be the best song she's ever written.

    After months of waiting we've been once again blessed by Miss Swift and her ability to transform feelings into songs. All Too Well ten minute version is what we all wanted yet we didn't know how amazing it would be. Nothing new is an instant favorite for me.     This album is the best one that I’ve heard this year! I just love how Taylor is able make Red better and its quality is also superb! The lyrics of each song is perfectly written and I couldn’t ask for more. Taylor once again showed us how talented she is and how she cares about her own craft. And the answer is that yeah, I'm Swiftie but RED always was my less favorite, for the reason I always thought that has many skips, I only liked Holy Ground (one of my favorites in general), State of Grace, Begin Again,It’s very surprising for me cause… I’m Swiftie and you might be thinking right now “well how the hell the re recording of a classic fan favorite album could surprise him”.     Truth is that this is now the definitive version of Red. It may also ensure that the good old boys who casually sold her music, seemingly out of a mixture of greed and spite, won’t get one red cent from Red, and it proves you can take a masterpiece and make it sound even better.

    The highlight of these is a ten-minute version of "All Too Well," a bitter ballad that was already one of the peaks of Red and is now turned into an epic kiss-off. This, along with excavated songs, are reason enough for Swift to revisit Red and they, not the re-recordings, are the reason to return to Red [Taylor's Version].
