It's a style. Archive knows how to make good music, different in this world of bands and artists that seem lazy and are guided by fashion or trends. They sound solid in their own way of composition in the electronic/rock even psychedelic field.

A little bit lack of entity, but in general another great record of Archive. Not as good as You All Look the Same to Me, Controlling Crowds and Controlling Crowds Part 4, but still really worth to listen.

Their tenth album is grand, moody and elegant in all the right places. [Feb 2015, p.90]

It is a shame, as when this album shines, with tracks like 'Kid Corner' and even 'Ruination', it seems like Archive could have really been onto something here, but have just missed the mark.

They've deployed four singers, reined in their more cinematic flourishes and gone for a punchier approach. Those four singers inevitably mean a lack of cohesion. [Feb 2015, p.105]
