    Selena trouxe uma pegada mexicana e alguns trechos em espanhol, como foi mostrado nas faixas ´´Me & My Girls`` e ´´Outta My Hands (Loco)`` por exemplo, o que foi importante para a construção cultural do álbum. Ela cresceu muito em relação aos seus antigos álbuns, inclusive em sua voz, que, de fato, nunca teve uma grande extensão e potência, mas se destacou em faixas como ´´Perfect`` eSelena trouxe uma pegada mexicana e alguns trechos em espanhol, como foi mostrado nas faixas ´´Me & My Girls`` e ´´Outta My Hands (Loco)`` por exemplo, o que foi importante para a construção cultural do álbum.     Selena Gomez era sempre a Teen com o álbum mais genérico e cheio de músicas apenas pra "hitar", observar a evolução dela neste álbum é incrível, músicas calmas, melodias perfeitas, só enjoa pra quem não sabe apreciar música de qualidade.

    Album excelente, tendoem vista que as posições das músicas deixam a desejar. Os pontos fortes das músicas são: Revival, Body heat e Camouflage. Quero dizer à todos os selenators a fazerem críticas relevantes e nnão fazer guerrinhas.

    This album is good but nothing that we've never heard! I think Selena finally find her tone and this album represents this!! My favorites are "Me & The Rhythm" and "Sober"!

    No soy fan de Selena Gomez pero debo admitir que Revival es un excelente disco, esperaba poco del disco y me sorprendió de la mejor manera. Un excelente punto de partida para empezar a hacer algo diferente y original, espero que su próximo disco sea un 10/10. Bastante agradable de escuchar!

    Mis favoritas son: Kill Em with Kindness, Camouflage, Rise, Me & My Girls y Cologne.

    Revival é um ótimo álbum, posso dizer que é o melhor da Selena. Ela realmente renasceu das cinzas e nos deu um trabalho quase impecável. Com uma voz deslumbrante e ritmo suave, o material surpreende até a quem não gosta de trabalho teen.

    Pontos altos: Me & My Rhythm, Revival, Sober
    Pontos baixos: Hands To Myself, Loco, Survivors

    It appears that Selena has found her voice with this album. Fun and sultry tracks throughout the entire album. There were a couple of misses in my opinion within the album, but also some great gems in Camouflage, Revival, and Kill Em With Kindness.

    This album has a similar but much stronger effect. This is a totally new Selena, with totally new sounds & lyrics.
    Not only has she executive produced it, she has also been listed in the composition of 11 songs which in my opinion has contributed to the difference the listeners feel in this album.    Selena's albums all felt the same, except A Year Without Rain - that kinda felt different.
    This album has a similar but much stronger effect. This is a totally new Selena, with totally new sounds & lyrics.
    Not only has she executive produced it, she has also been listed in the composition of 11 songs which in my opinion has contributed to the difference the listeners feel in this album.
    The album, in my opinion, is divided into: empowerment songs, love-linked songs, and songs that should not be there.
    Empowerment songs of Revival: 1. Revival (self-empowerment) // 2. Kill Em With Kindness (self-empowerment & dealing with the world full of negativity) // 8. Me & The Rhythm (empowering you to lose yourself to the music/the rhythm) // 11. Rise // 12. Me & My Girls (themes of female power).
    Love-linked songs: 3. Hands to Myself // 4. Same Old Love // 5. Sober // 6. Good For You // 7. Camouflage // 13. Nobody // 14. Perfect // 15. Cologne
    Songs that should not be there: 9. Survivors & 10. Body Heat. These songs feel like they've been written in 10 seconds, they feel like a total waste of Selena's skills and a lack of representation of her abilities.    … Expand

    Selena realmente renasceu com o Revival. A cantora evoluiu tanto liricamente como vocalmente com a era, além de ter conseguido fazer músicas em sua maioria boas ou ótimas, com exceção de duas ou três ruins. "Revival" e "Me & The Rhythm" são as rainhas.

    An excellent album. "Revival" brings out the hidden thing out of Selena Gomez. The album opens with impressive title track and maintains the consistency throughout the album. The first 6 tracks are really wonderful. With the 7th track she gives us a piano assisted gem. Also, Selena's vocals, production, theme of the songs is worth praise.     A great pop album with plenty of amazing songs that you will want to listen to for months. It is a MASSIVE improvement over its predecessor Stars Dance and clearly shows why Selena Gomez is deserving of being at the top of the music industry despite not having the best vocals. Favourites include Good For You, Hands To Myself, Nobody, Sober and Survivors.

    Her best album. She grown up a lot since Stars Dance. This album has many great pop songs like Same Old Love or Hands To Myself but also has many personal songs like Perfect.

While her voice may lack the quality of some other great singers, she was capable of putting a really good work together, which is not only 100 % Selena Gomez but even more current and enjoyable.     Álbum, muito bom, gostoso de ouvir, letras interessantes, algumas musicas chatas com batidinhas fracas, porém a obra como um todo é muito boa. Também vale destacar os vocais bem colocadas da Selena, onde a mesma entende um pouco melhor sobre sua voz .

    This album features a strong, adult Selena experiencing for the first time in her music career the creative control of her work. Evolution goes through each song and never loses its tone at any time.

    Sempre gostei da Selena, curto os álbuns dela, mas esse realmente me surpreendeu, não esperava por isso, acho que ela está no lugar certo agora. Melhor álbum dela até agora!!!

    Revival is overall a good album. I didn't really love it's lead single. It was boring and slow had no real kick to it, but then I got the album and I generally liked it's slowness. It really is nothing that Sel has ever done. Yes it has it's flaws, the tracklist seems like it just thrown together and had no real thought. But "Kill Em With Kindness", "Rise" and "Sober" were great.

    Selena's definitely improving a lot! Revival's a great album and it's a lot more mature than her other albums. Revival, Sober, Good For You, Me & The Rhythm, Perfect, and Cologne are some album highlights. There is a bit too much filler, though, and they're not great. But overall, it's a solid album.

    Best Selena Gomez album, although most songs are monotone. The best track is Nobody and the worst is Me & my girls. I was expecting less from her. Am I the only one that hears Charli XCX on Same old Love?

    Revival é um ótimo álbum e representante na industria Pop, porém faltou mais produção nas musicas para que não se tornassem tão repetitivas. Sem dúvidas o melhor álbum da Selena, e o mais maduro. Selena cresce cada vez mais na música e em seus trabalhos.

    to be honest I'm quite surprised how different this album is to Star Dance. It is very mature and mostly all the great songs are good. It is different from what usually Selena come with and i hope she do this kind of album again.

    Selena sounds good over the course of the 13 tracks, but after a while, the songs start to sound restless. There very forgettable tracks (about a little more than half of the album), but the unforgettable ones hit hard (Good for You; Same Old Love; Revival). The only thing Ms Gomez was unforgivably wrong doing was putting the best track she recorded for this, "Cologne", on the Japanese deluxe.

    Metacritic is becoming a bias database of alleged music critics. This album was well done by Selena. Only people who actually like the pop genre will have a valid and reliable review. So many haters. So if you don't like pop stay out of this review.

This record doesn't really end itself anywhere, it's like a moving train that doesn't have a destination.

    Bom, eu não esperava muito desse álbum, pois achei seu dois primeiros singles fracos para ser singles. Esse álbum parece que foi feito com a maioria de suas músicas, descartáveis. O início do mesmo é até legalzinho e um pouco divertido. Depois de "Good For You" o álbum começa a ser cansativo. A melhor escolha de terceiro single, PRA MIM seria "Me & The Rhytnm" ou "Kill Em The Kindness", mesmo com "Kill Em The Kindness" com um conteúdo bem parecido das outras faixas do álbum. Das faixas bônus a melhor e a única que salva é "Me & My Girls", com um título bem parecido com "Me & The Rhytnm" a música é totalmente diferente de todo o álbum, com um mix maravilhoso, essa está entre as minhas favoritas. E pra fechar meu review, vou falar da faixa inicial: Revival. Ela é boa, porém tá muito mal localizada, ela poderia está no lugar de Good For You, separando as duas metades do álbum. A ordem do álbum não é ruim, mas pra ficar perfeita deveria está assim:

    The album is nice, but some of the songs are awful like Outta My Hands, Body Heat, Me & My Girls. It's just hard to listen to them to me. Also songs like Perfect, Cologne are not on the standart track list what is really bad.

Selena steps into a new chapter in her life, marked with the beginning and ending tracks "Revival" and "Rise."     Definitely Selena's best album yet. It embraces her good voice and she no longer sings "dumb pop". More mature and more eloquent. Pleasantly surprised with the R&B tinge in many of the songs, it suits her. Still a lot more work required before she can solidify her place in the pop realm but she is certainly on the right track.     Although this is a drastic improvement in music for Gomez, she remains yet again, another generic pop star and in essence this album is yet again about her whirlwind romances.

Selena Gomez proves with this record that she's taking her career to more mature and serious level than what she used to do before. Since the moment she released "The Heart Wants What It Wants", she proved to be more confident with her voice,Best Selena Gomez album, although most songs are monotone.     The only good songs are the singles and Sober. But I have to say this album is the most listenable from her. It's a pity she can't sing the songs live without being off-key.

    De el álbum se pueden destacar algunos trabajos, pero no da una certeza clara de la intención de Selena para sus fans, no transmite mucha energía (raro porque es electro-pop), un trabajo medio de Selena pero reconozco el esfuerzo.

There are a few very good standout tracks such as Kill Em With Kindness, Me & The Rhythm, and Survivors, a number of alright tracks, and some real stinkers such as Sober, Camouflage, and Rise.

    More generally, I think what this album has going for it is the    I listened to Revival not expecting much, and it was only slightly better than I anticipated, although still rather average. There are a few very good standout tracks such as Kill Em With Kindness, Me & The Rhythm, and Survivors, a number of alright tracks, and some real stinkers such as Sober, Camouflage, and Rise.

    More generally, I think what this album has going for it is the production. Many of the songs have a nice, fresh, modern sound that isn't overdone like a lot of pop music these days. The big drawback though, in my opinion, is that I'm still not convinced that Selena Gomez has any real musical talent. Can she actually sing without autotune? Can she actually write music? There are parts of Revival that suggest that Selena may one day be a worthy pop star, but at this point I think she's still just a product of Disney and her record label.    … Expand

    I've never heard a single song from this girl but given the success and the critics this album is receiving, adding that i like mainstream pop as well, I thought I could check it out. My first and my last time from Gomez.     It's great that she is finding her voice and experimenting and such, but she is not a good singer. She has very little vocal talent. If she would do a bit more music in the EDM world, stuff similar to "Forget Forever" or "Kill Em With Kindness" I would have a bit more respect for her as an artist, but being a mainstream pop artist requires vocals.

    Eu esperava bem mais do Revival. Eu achei chato e tive que ouvir por partes, porque não consegui ouvir todas as faixas seguidas. Porém, Same Old Love é muito boa, e dou 4 por causa dela.

    Infelizmente, o tão aguardado álbum da Selena foi uma total decepção para mim. Além de Good For You e Same Old Love, não consegui gostar 100% de nenhuma outra música. Algumas se destacam, mas pecam por serem repetitivas/enjoativas e sem um ponto forte, como Kiss Em With Kindness e Me & The Rhythm. No final, os maiores destaques acabam por ser versos ou instrumentais.

    Selena went Urban but bring nothing to it. The album has 16 songs and I just liked 5. Listend to it at least 6 times thinking I could change my opinion, but It didn't happen. I can see her vocal maturing, her lyrics maturing, but I can't see what she came for.

    Revival transmite bem as emoções, mas é um álbum cheio de deprês, que não mudam a linha. Apenas umas 4 músicas são mais agitadas, e essas sim colam. Apesar de ser o MELHOR ÁLBUM DELA, ainda tem tanto para evoluir.

But even if she is not a great singer, she might make you listen to the whole album or most of it, so give it a try but I don't think you would like to replay it much. Which I think people tried because the amount of reviews and ratings are too elevated while the sales weren't proportional, compared to other albums.… Expand

    With all the hype surroudning album, l was ready to be blown away. In stead only one track stood out, Sober. and only 3 others I would recommend. The production is amazing the lyrics, singing and composition is misguided. With 38 writers and producers with 2 years prep time, I expect more than 4/15 good songs.

It has a little bit of an edge over 'Stars Dance' and a massive one over 'For You'. It shows a side of Selena that nobody has ever seen, she shows a less childish side and more of a mature adult side. Hands To Myself is one of those songs that has the ability to make you feel sexy and the same goes for Good For You. I also like the use of steel pans in Me & The Rhythm. My personal favourite from the album is 'Rise' because it personally empowers me and boosts my confidence as a whole. In fact this is her best album to date.… Expand

    When you think that Selena could not do a worse job at Stars Dance comes Revival, there are only two songs that are saved, the cover is wonderful, Selena had to take but this was where would be his reborn after both his professional and personal life , but real songs with deep lyrics, is the same pop he has done from Disney.

    The album has a few good songs but most of them are repetitive and generic. Her voice sounds different in almost every song and is very auto-tuned. I know for a fact that most of those 'high notes' are auto-tuned because she can not hit any of those live. This album is very boring and lacks any sort of talent at all.

    The vocal it was very well worked on this CD , but the songs are quite boring, production does not stand out .She came from a CD with great POP songs like Slow Down undercover Save the day so Revival was very disappointing TO Me

    This can hardly be called music. Half of it is generic pop, the other- silent whispers with lame beat to cover up for lack of vocal abilities. Overall this is just one more ex-act trying to prove that she's all grown up and not a little girl anymore.

    tried listening to this album after a few years since it was released, but i pretty much didn’t enjoy any of the tracks. Very generic and cheesy, no outstanding vocal range and i believe it could’ve been way better if her team sought a bit of professionalism and originality.

    I gave a try to this album, but it's doing nothing for me. Generic and boring. I really don't know why Ms. Gomez is still trying to be a singer when obviously she is NOT. WORST ALBUM OF THE YEAR.
