big, buff and poppy as hell but he has his radio hits but doesnt want to leave that "tough guy" persona. this project has "Right round" (which i love hearing in the hangover) "jump" and "sugar" as its top hits. radio and soundtrack friendly. 2009 was weird.

i remember when this album first came out. not many songs caught my ear. seems the guests do better than the main guys album. the fact this album is the score it is from critics is surprising. thought they were gonna diss this one out. very poor album. seems more pop than hip hop

A 62? Are you kidding me? This album gets a bigger score than Eminem's Relapse? Give me a break.

He tried his best, unfortunately this album makes him more of a pop artist than hip hop.

I'm sorry a 63, this has to be one of the worst albums I've heard in a very long time. Flo Rida has taken advantage of one, good hit single, other than that, his "music" is utter crap.

To put it in simple terms-The featured guests offer catchy hooks over flo rida's whack rhymes!! Even when he is trying to kick knowledge in songs like "Never" He sounds unreal and boring. The song "Sugar" features a melody which is similar to "Disturbia" by Rihanna. To put it simply...this is more of a pop album then Rap/Hip Hop. Do yourself a favor and pick up Nas's "Lost To put it in simple terms-The featured guests offer catchy hooks over flo rida's whack rhymes!! 1. The unsurprisingly inconsistent R.O.O.T.S. is hip-hop like Nas never happened, a flash or fodder album owing more to Lady GaGa than to Public Enemy.
  2. The problem is that he shows no growth--besides realizing, along with his producers, that if you throw every hook known to man into the pop ocean, you are bound to catch something.
  3. Flo Rida boasts an adroit double-timed flow, but his greatest achievement is his understanding of how to stay in the background, never overwhelming the electro-laced tracks.
