Another project paved with numerous numbless and mindnumbing tracks. There are many featured artists that Young Thug doesn't always to manage. However he offers some visibility to them, it's a shame they didn't take the opportunity. Unsurprisingly the greatest names gather the larger amount of streams almost effortlessly.
I was really surprise to hear Kid Cudi and Skepta on this record.

I was really surprise to hear Kid Cudi and Skepta on this record. Skepta used his energy to stay out of the lyrical mess that sadly characterizes all the record. Kid Cudi did his best too but got polluted. Why you Kid Cudi ?
Instrumentals are dull, boring and uninspired all along. The vocals often constitutes the best part of the tracks, and very often even these don't get close to satisfying. Entertaining at best but clearly not interesting.

Ultimately, Slime Language 2 is a label compilation and the usual caveats apply: it’s far too long, the back half is padded out with a few throwaways and hardly anyone is showing up with their best material. That said, Slime Language 2 succeeds as a survey of how pervasive Thug’s influence has become.

Famous faces Drake, Future, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Lil Baby, and Skepta also appear, but there's so much quality content to wade through on Slime Language 2 that their turns aren't even the most notable.

The finely curated production on Slime Language 2 provides a perfect snapshot of the evolution of Atlanta's sound.
