    This definitely gave me a reason to smile, the album is great from Never Really Over to What Makes A Woman, no skips. Pop perfection.

    Um dos melhores (ou o melhor) álbum do ano. Simplesmente impecável, nenhuma música ruim, todas com uma letra forte, melodia cativante. Simplesmente incrível, melhor trabalho da Katy Perry desde o PRISM.

    Apesar de não ter faixas muito diferentes do que já foi feito por Katy, Smile é bem coeso e as músicas têm boa produção. Harleys in Hawai deveria ter recebido mais atenção do público. Not The End of the World e Cry About it Later têm potencial para se tornarem hits, diferentemente do que diz a crítica.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tucked is the best song off the album only behind Harleys in Hawaii. These two songs alone show Katy’s multi dimensions of music. The reason I mention Tucked is that many critics couldn’t understand what’s the audience’s interest and the flow of the music industry nowadays. Their sabotaged of talented artists wouldn’t show they’re superior but only letting the public understand their view don’t matters.… Expand

    Perfectly disappointing in every way possible. Katy Perry an artist very proficient in delivering hits&marketing fails to make a splash. The album barely got promoted as if it's indicative of lack of faith. Aesthetically it's extremly underwhelming, i cannot wrap my head around the relevance of the clown concept,what is happening here?

    Hinting to be a return to form with the misleadingly good lead single "never really over " or the palatable "daisies" and "Harleys in Hawaii " but otherwise every other effort is grating to a point of being annoying.

    "Never Really Over" it's a very solid dance track with good lyricysm.
    "Cry About It Later" and "Teary Eyes" have weird production, but still they're nice bangerz.
    "Daisies" contains very nice production and imo the best vocals that Katy ever put out. "Resilent" is okay. "Not the End of the World" has a nice intro, and later nice "trap" hook. I love it! "Smile" is nice song, I like this    "Never Really Over" it's a very solid dance track with good lyricysm.

    "Only Love" is okay. "What Makes a Woman" is also nice, and it's lyrics shocked me actually, but positevely.

    This has been a very solid album for Katy!! She definitely benefited from having a shorter album with no fillers. The critics need to put their frown upside down!

    This album is her best album along PRISM, period. It shows a major growth in her and it's kinda emotional. Thanks for making us smile.

    Fav tracks: Tucked, Daisies, Teary Eyes, Not The End Of The World and Cry About It Later.

    I love this album and I can't stop listening to it. It has the typical Katy Perry sound, but it's also different from her other albums. I find it more mature. It's full of Fireworks and Roars, it's what we needed in this historic moment.

    This album is a redemption. Katy is washing her hands about all the hate she received in the past. Just like Taylor said everyone is waiting for the brand new toy girl to play whit and then discharge it. She’s a grown up woman and a mother who deserves respect as an artist and as a person.

    O melhor álbum da Katy disparado! Conseguiu entregar um trabalho pessoal, bem produzido, emocionante e despretensioso. Ela não faz questão de trazer inovação, mas sim abraçar os fãs que estiveram sempre com ela. PERFEITA!

    Se você não gostou, não ouviu direito. "Not the End of the World" é a minha favorita, me lembrou um pouco o estilo de "Dark Horse", como a própria Katy Perry disse, o "Smile" é o irmão mais velho do "Prism".

    This is a much needed album at the moment, it's full with positivity and energy. Katy sounds happy and it gives you a SMILE while listening. Definitely her best album to date.

    I don't understand all the hate around Smile... It's a great great record! Pop perfection! Enjoyable, danceable... You definetely can feel her on the album!

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
