I'm happy to say that I've been following Dream Wife since the beginning. Their punk rock with pop and indie notes are always fun.
In this new album, is does seem they are struggling with creativity, but they are still pushing it as hard as they can. This is not good or bad, this is just one more step (hopefully) towards something even bigger and better, and they are enjoying the process

This is not good or bad, this is just one more step (hopefully) towards something even bigger and better, and they are enjoying the process just as me. I'm sure Dream Wife can become in a power band with the chance to empower and encourage a fun punk and rebel rock in the new generations.

Another blistering, brilliant missive from one of rock’s most fearless bands, on ‘Social Lubrication’, Dream Wife prove two things. Firstly, social commentary and exorcising your fury at the world don’t have to be joyless, and secondly, they’re still one of the most vital acts we’ve got right now.

The London-based trio use corrosive riffs, candid lyrics and pop hooks to deliver their most direct statement of self-autonomy yet.

Social Lubrication is the work of a band that believes music can actually make a difference, and in Dream Wife's hands, it's a feeling that's contagious.
