El mejor disco de 202. Grandes canciones, un disco para disfrutar de inicio a fin.

Too bad, I expected a lot more from this band, but all the songs are terrible and without any cohesion.

just like iggy pop once said that this album should be called "songs beyond the general public", and i think he's absolutely right. this band is mind-blowing and recently became one of my favorites ever.

fav tracks: hell on wheels, live in favor of tomorrow, somebody loving you, the one, hog. (actually it has no skips but these ones in particular are just *chef's kiss* fr)

Power pop perfection, with a gen z smirk…I was bumming over a broken heart and this album taught me to laugh at the pain. Somebody Loving You, Moon, and Leather Together are just awesome tracks…but there’s not a bad track on the album.

For those so inclined, Songs for the General Public is a giddy musical roller coaster ride through the poppier aspects of the 70s with more twists and turns perhaps than are necessary. Hang on tight and enjoy the trip.

If shiny, overstated hooks and operatic melodies are your thing, stick on the Twigs’ latest LP right away and you’ll have a ruddy glorious time. But for many, Songs For The General Public will be an overwhelming, even frustrating listen. The brothers wear their huge list of influences so prominently on their sleeves that it’s hard to put your finger on who they really are – and what they’re trying to say.

Always grandiose and intimate at the same time, The Lemon Twigs have managed to perfect not only an uncanny reprise of FM rock (duly aided by producer and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Jonathan Rado), but also the type of excitement it provoked.
