May 7, 2015One of the best 90's albums of all time! Very song on Superunknown is just a masterpiece! They'll never be an album like this. Really glad these guys are back together!

Nov 20, 2014Superunknown marked the merciful end of the grunge era. The cheesiest album Soundgarden ever made. Go back and listen to Louder Than Love to hear what these guys were really capable of, listen to this if you want to understand why grunge needed to die. The sound of a band that is taking itself way too seriously.

Sep 26, 2019Real good album. Dude killed himself. Oof. I guess he meant it. Rough **** bro. But fire ass hard rock album. Soundgarden crushes with some spicy hits.

Jan 22, 2021Amazing vocals. Melodic rifts and sharp solo tonality. Every song on the album is unique, almost experimental in its own way. Can't praise it enough. (Rest in peace Chris Cornell, you are missed and beloved by millions around the world. Your music has influenced me heavily and I'm thankful for the insight of inflect you have granted me.

Classic Rock MagazineDec 18, 2014Five CDs is probably too much intensity for anyone to take, but Superunknown itself is a pitch-black delight. [Summer 2014, p.95]

Jul 1, 2014It is hard to say that the “rehearsal” tracks will be accessible to many more than hardcore Soundgarden fans or musicians who can relate to the start-stop and voiceover style of pushing through a song and trying to get it right, but then again, it’s hard to imagine many outside-of-hardcore fans of the band forking over the $90-plus it costs to buy this collection. Those that have the money and the interest should definitely do so, however.
