    An amazing project from Denzel Curry his dark horror trap beats with his dark lyrics mixed with the dark names is such a well done concept one of the best albums of 2018 denzel has really made this an amazing album with melodic tracks from TA1300 to dark tracks like Dark metal terrorists this album will be known as a classic one day

    Absolutely killer, easily one of the best hip-hop albums in a year that's already packed with great records. Denzel Curry is unquestionably one of the best rappers of this generation.

    Denzel Curry produced the best rap album of 2018. TA13OO is unique and different to what other rappers produced in the industry. Act 3 is the best act. To me the songs get better when you go down the acts. Percz is my favourite song

    TA13OO by Denzel Curry is dope. I wasn't ready for his album, to be honest, and after listening to the album, I was amazed by what Denzel Curry can do. I love how he split the album into three acts; I love all the songs from start to finish. Denzel Curry's rapping skills, his flows, and bars are insane on this album. Defiantly one of the best albums of Denzel Curry's Career, and one of myTA13OO by Denzel Curry is dope. I wasn't ready for his album, to be honest, and after listening to the album, I was amazed by what Denzel Curry can do.     What an album! Tons of bangers, great features and killer beats.
    Denzel delivers consistently great flows and clever lyrics on every song.
    I also loved J.I.D, Zillakami and Jpegmafia on this album. I don't really like the hook on Blackest Balloon and on Cash Maniac. I think they make these songs very unenjoyable even though the verses and beats on these tracks are still good. My    What an album! Tons of bangers, great features and killer beats.

    As off start of 2020 my favourite album of all time. Only a few weaker moments even though nothing I'd call anything close to bad. Shows a range of styles from more melodic to hard banger. Cements denzel as one of the best of the generation.

    Best songs: Sirens, vengeance, percs and clout Cobain Worst songs: switch it up and mad I got it

From the smooth transitions to the wide range, heavy-hitting choruses, and well-crafted lyrics, this album is an incredible showcase of Denzel's range and raw talent. Heavy bangers like "Sumo" and "Vengance" have Denzel going back to his roots, while more socially conscious songs like "Sirens"Fantastic hip-hop record, and Denzel's best work yet, even surpassing the fantastic "Imperial". From the smooth transitions to the wide range, heavy-hitting choruses, and well-crafted lyrics, this album is an incredible showcase of Denzel's range and raw talent. Heavy bangers like "Sumo" and "Vengance" have Denzel going back to his roots, while more socially conscious songs like "Sirens" and the superb "Clout Cobain" showcase Denzel's excellent lyrical ability.

    The floaty and funky "light" intro section reveals an entirely different side to Denzel, still covering dark topics such as depression, childhood abuse, and social taboo (hence the album's name), but still remaining light and generally upbeat.

    The "Gray" section acts as a showcase of Denzel's range and ability, with various sounds and themes throughout, but still showing 5 excellent tracks, including the incredible "Clout Cobain".

    Finally the "Dark" section, despite starting off with arguably the least-focussed track on the album, "Blackest Balloon", quickly picks up with the heavy-hitting "Percz", a scathing critique of the Rap industry and of modern Hip-Hop culture as a whole, before moving onto the chilling and brutal "Vengeance", and ending on the dark and voracious "Black Metal Terrorist".

    This album is a full showcase of Denzel's range and ability, and has everything one could possibly want in a rap album. Aside from the somewhat-disappointing "Blackest Balloon" (not to be confused with the excellent "Black Balloons", which appears all the way back in the album's first act), every song on the album is a well-woven lyrical and sonic tapistry, slotted perfectly into order to form an impressive collage. 9.5/10 for sure, and a must-listen for any rap fan.    … Expand

    Definitely one of the best trap albums in recent memory. Magnificently, hauntingly dark and eclectic choices. It's consistent with no skippables, shows off great lyricism and flows... the only real negative in the dense, hard hitting trap masterpiece is a lack of extensive replay value given the nature of the project. Even still, there's a lot of catchy tunes trinkled in a project so heavy.

Curry shows far more versatility as well in the lighter cuts such as Black Balloons and Cash Maniac, while also maintaining the dark and grimy performances he is known for on tracks like Vengeance and Black Metal Terrorist. He also shows his introspective side withIt is a major improvement in every aspect from production, to songwriting and everything in between compared to Imperial. Curry shows far more versatility as well in the lighter cuts such as Black Balloons and Cash Maniac, while also maintaining the dark and grimy performances he is known for on tracks like Vengeance and Black Metal Terrorist. He also shows his introspective side with political commentary on Sirens and his critique of society's newfound obsession with "clout chasing" in this social media age on Clout Cobain. There isn't a single track here that I disliked, which is why I gave it a 10, and it is a strong contender for Hip Hop album of the year alongside Kids See Ghosts by Kanye West and Kid Cudi and the newly released Brockhampton album, Iridescence.… Expand

    Denzel does everything right on this deep project, sectioned into 3 different parts:light, gray, and dark. You can hear the Miami influence on every track as he goes deeper and deeper into his mind. The lyrics are great, the beats are great, and the features are great. It has such a heavy and dark style to it, and Denzel is the perfect artist to execute it.

    This album has something for everybody- and for every different style that Curry embarks on, he executes it with such ease. If somebody doesn't like this album, I can only inference that they do not like hip hop.

    Denzel suprised me with this project, it really wasn't what I expected after hearing some of his past work. The first disc or act of this album is much more mellow and laid back which is a great thing because Denzel could really hold his own with that style of music. For people who are more into bangers and trunk knockers, there are plenty of moments on this album that contains just that,Denzel suprised me with this project, it really wasn't what I expected after hearing some of his past work. That leads me to say that even the more aggresive and not-so-mellow tracks are still amazing. During the last two acts the album takes a diffrent turn and it is not a dissapoint one. I could talk for hours about this album but i'll say this, there's hardly any dull moments on this project and Denzel out did himself, check it out for yourself!

    One of the best albums that came in 2018, amazing structure, amazing lyrics, energising bars, and moments where i literally got goosebums. The structure of this album impressed me quite a lot, you literally dont notice how the album changes it's tone, only after finishing listening to it you notice the huge difference between the first song and the the last.

    this album is a great representation into the mind of Denzel curry, and the state of hip hop today. An absolute classic in my eyes. The slight shortcomings in this are the sometimes slightly annoying hooks but besides that every verse is a great one

    This record really shines when Denzel Curry is providing more lyricism. Tracks like Sirens, Percs and Clout Cobain really showcase Denzel's lyrical ability along with the catchy hooks present on nearly every single track on TA13OO. The album isn't too complex but it doesn't need to be, and Denzel's wordplay makes up for that. JPEGMAFIA's feature on Vengeance is also quite impressive and makes that song memorable, and the intro track does very well to start the record.

    If there was 1 criticism I had with this album, it's that on some songs there is more repetition than there needs to be, since Denzel can clearly make great verses. However, there isn't really anything I dislike about this record besides that and the tracks are all good, but if I were to nitpick, I wish Billie Eilish was the only one singing the chorus on Sirens, since you can barely hear her and her voice sounds beautiful on the chorus, perfectly fitting it.    … Expand

    This album is the best album of 2018 by far. The way the 3 acts have notable differences from eachother make it feel like a journey starting from the light descending into darkness. It really describes how life is, that some parts of your life are light and some are dark. Best tracks are BLACK BALLOONS; SIRENS; TABOO; SWITCH IT UP; and PERCS

    This album is absolutely terrific. Coming off of a well put together album, in "Imperial," Denzel Curry came with an even STRONGER showing. "TA13OO" is musically beautiful. The production on this album is, angry and vicious. His energy and lyrics perfectly match the instrumentals. On the Dark Side, or Act 3 of the album, he has angry, loud, beats and his flow and energy are equal partsThis album is absolutely terrific. Coming off of a well put together album, in "Imperial," Denzel Curry came with an even STRONGER showing. "TA13OO" is musically beautiful. The production on this album is, angry and vicious. His energy and lyrics perfectly match the instrumentals. On the Dark Side, or Act 3 of the album, he has angry, loud, beats and his flow and energy are equal parts angry, meticulous flow, and lyrically sound. His lyrics, no matter the song match the emotion of the song. He chose features like JID, JPEGmafia, and Zillakami. Every artist fits along with Curry on each song, and all of their verses fail to disappoint. They all surprised me. On the song Vengeance with Jpeg and Zilla, the emotion and energy comes across perfectly and all 3 artists match each other. Overall this album is musically amazing and lyrically wonderful. It is an out of body journey every time you listen to this album. I listen to its songs daily, and i would recommend this album to any rap fans, and any fans of good music.… Expand

    This album was insanely diverse, yet it still flowed together flawlessly. It may be hard to think that Cash Maniac and Sumo are connected since the songs sound so different, but they go perfectly together. Cash Maniac is a form of Denzel that wanted the money and fame. Sumo comes right after because it is a form of Denzel that has the money now. The sheer aggression on Percs and BMT isThis album was insanely diverse, yet it still flowed together flawlessly. It may be hard to think that Cash Maniac and Sumo are connected since the songs sound so different, but they go perfectly together. Cash Maniac is a form of Denzel that wanted the money and fame. The ability to create songs that both sound good and have lyrical content is astounding. The dark story telling on Switch it Up is also nothing to sleep on.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Amazing album divided in 3 acts. Act 1 is light, first two songs are very melodic and they have OutKast vibes. CASH MANIAC has very unique flow, but also it has vibe to it. Then we get to the single, one of the biggest bangers, SUMO. Lyrics in act 1 contain subjects like love which honestly I did not expect from Curry. I was not expecting that type of music, but I liked it and enjoyed it very much. Act 2 is grey, we have couple of bangers, real rap songs, collab with JID and biggest song on the album, CLOUT COBAIN. First song of this act is a continuation of SUMO. Then we get SWITCH IT UP and MAD I GOT IT. Denzel shows his insane talent and word playing in this two bangers, flow is maybe the best in the game. Next track is SIRENS where he talks about politics, president Trump, racism and police brutality. JID gives us very good feature, probably the best feature on the album. CLOUT COBAIN is a single with a very powerful music video. Curry is his own man, he doesn't have a contract with any label. He says that if you sign in to a label you will be treated like a slave, which is true. Shows what does rappers do for fame and money and how that effects their fans. Act 3 is dark side of the album, my favorite. Every song on here is raw and bangs. He has a bar on THE BLACKEST BALOON "Ain't s*** changed since Lil Peep died". Even tho he overdosed and died because of drugs people won't stop using it and were affected by his death couple of days and that's all. PERCS is also a single, another banger, talks about drugs and again his flow is out of this world. VENGEANCE is also one of the biggest bangers, my favorite song on the album, with very strong features. JPEGMAFIA and ZillaKami are just behind JID in my opinion. Denzel and 2 previously mentioned guys showed to us some of top tier flows and bars. Song ends with sweet melody. BLACK METAL TERRORIST is the last track on the album and the worst thing about this track is that it's last track of this amazing album. Another banger.

    I first heard of Denzel Curry from Ultimate. I thought it was a good song, but never took it seriously, probably because the song was memed to death.
    After that, I didn't even think about Denzel Curry YouTube recommended the music video of Clout Cobain to me soon after it was released. I watched the music video, absolutely loved it, then listened to all of Denzel's discography. I then    I first heard of Denzel Curry from Ultimate. I thought it was a good song, but never took it seriously, probably because the song was memed to death.
    After that, I didn't even think about Denzel Curry YouTube recommended the music video of Clout Cobain to me soon after it was released. I watched the music video, absolutely loved it, then listened to all of Denzel's discography. I then realized that he made Ultimate and was genuinely disappointed that I didn't listen to his music beforehand.
    I immediately fell in love with Ta13oo. Every song in the album is perfect. This is the only album I've ever listened to where I absolutely loved every single song. I go back to this album frequently. While all of Denzel Curry's albums are at least good, and almost all of them are great, Ta13oo is his best album. One problem with that, though, is that he might not be able to make a better album than this, but I feel confident that he will. And even if not, this is still one of the best rap albums ever, at least in my opinion.    … Expand

In the opening track of this album you realize that you're about to experience something very different from a lot of rap albums out now. The slow melodic sad chorus gives you insight on how Curry's life was and still is a tragedy. TABOO, Black Balloons, Cash Maniac, and Sumo might beTA13OO is an album made by Denzel Curry and follows him as he raps about loss, life and human condition. In the opening track of this album you realize that you're about to experience something very different from a lot of rap albums out now. The slow melodic sad chorus gives you insight on how Curry's life was and still is a tragedy. TABOO, Black Balloons, Cash Maniac, and Sumo might be some of the best opening tracks I've ever heard. Even though the first three tracks had a consistent tone of choices and death, then Sumo comes in sounding like a trap banger out of nowhere. Still a very good song. And honestly 75% of songs on this album are classics. That's it. Point blank. The production quality on the tracks is immaculate. It makes the listener feel as though they are in hell. Or the mind of an extremely tortured person that is hell for them. Curry's pen game is on point. He raps some of his best lyrics on this album. Whether it's about drying tears with a dollar bill, or taking more steps in the path that you choose, Denzel always conveys emotions to the listeners accurately and how he wants them to hear it. While nearly all of the tracks are amazing, Curry doesn't balance the tone of the three different parts evenly. As mentioned before the first three tracks being somber and thoughtful, then switching to a trap beat filled sumo doesn't really blend well together. Denzel Curry delivers once again with TA13OO with trap bops and hell filled tracks. And classic after classic on this album but just shy of perfect. This album earns its 9/10.… Expand

    This Denzel Curry album will be the best of his discography for a long time, possibly forever. This is the peak of experimental Hiphop. The production is top notch on here and Denzels rapping is as exciting as ever.     this is hands down my favorite album of all time, with hard-hitting bangers like Percs and Vengeance. it also provides thought-provoking songs like Sirens and Clout Cobain. There was no song on this album that I did not like. This is a must-listen album.

    An extremely complete collection of tracks. And from an artist that has surfed the decline of the genres downward turn to show he can out class and outlast the trend and gimmicks of culture that are so prevalent.

    Very good album and definitely one of my favourite albums. The production on every track is awesome and Denzel's flow makes it even better. Denzel should have more recognition because of this.
