Whoever thinks they sound like The Killers is seriously retarded. The Killers are boring posers who think they are original. This is pure fun. Robert Smith should call Brandon Flowers, that cocky twat.

I don't see what's with all this Killers-wannabe shit. The Bravery have a different sound plus their album doesn't get too slow as does The Killers' one. I think this album is great and I'm anxiously waiting for the next release. This could me my next favourite band. Hope they won't spoil it all!!

This mediocre CD might have some catchy melodies, but it has dreadful lyrics, lacks substance, and doesn't retain any shred of originality.

Wow. When I heard their first release "An Honest Mistake" I immediately loved it and I set out to hear the rest of their tunes. At first, I thought that their style was a little too out there for me, but then I realized that the songs were stuck in my head and I fell in love with the album totaly. It has not left my CD player for weeks, and it's still on my MP3 player as well. I Wow. It has not left my CD player for weeks, and it's still on my MP3 player as well. I don't understand why there's such a big deal over their sound. Just because The Killers sound similar to them. Let's just remember that the Strokes and the White Stripes were the ones who paved the way, The Killers just went a little more mainstream, and their songs seem like nothing next to The Bravery. I LOVE The Killers, but I love The Bravery's gritty sound. Its a little different. Their album is AMAZING. All the songs are great. Especially Unconditional, A Public Service Announcement, The Ring Song, and Tyrant. Listen to the CD if you can. You'll be happy. LOPe Expand

Everyone should listen to this album now! If you like the Killers you'll like this, iits like a rawer faster version of Hot Fuss. The Bravery are my favourite new band (I'm going to see them on the 27 nov) and there is no reason for the crap they recieve. They're much more intresting than the Killers and also are much better. Buy, Buy!

I really respect bravery for putting up with everyone's crap that they've been given. People say they are bad but if you look around they are plenty worse! People have been blinded with this non-existent feud between the killers. From what i've seen the killers think they are best and they are the only ones actually stirring. Two things: 1. The Bravery > The Killers. They're not as flimsy and whiney as the Killers are with their music (The choir in "Andy You're a Star"? Was that nessecary?) 2. You have to be extremely close-minded or have yet to hear the album if you rate this a 1 or 0. I'm not saying you have to have taste to listen to them, but rather, an open mind and the ability to hear Two things: 1. The Bravery > The Killers. I think their album is worth the money, this is a leap from ordinary rock... Anyone who rated them below 5-6 are SCEPTICS. I though they sucked to, until afterI REALLY listened to honest mistake.

Most of you people trashing the bravery fear any electronic sounds for some odd reason. You also believe that if some other band comes out with a similar genre before that it makes any album after that less entertaining.... tell that to pearl jam when they came after nirvana...

It's bold, brash, trashy fun that will tempt Killers fans to fall in lust all over again. [19 Mar 2005, p.57]
  3. The Bravery do a jockier version of the New Wave competition, pumping the drums in straight-ahead tunes such as "An Honest Mistake" and "The Ring Song."
