As a stand alone album it tells the story of a young person dealing with love and heartbreak. The angst of being a teenager/young adult. This album is a continuation of the Dream Chapter series. They give a nod to songs off there previous album and EPs with songs like, What if I had been that Puma and No Rules. The members helped with production and lyrics on the album, truly making it there own. There title track 0X1=LOVESONG is an alternate rock sound that gives me a sense of nostalgia every time I hear it. The song is about loving some one even when there is a void in your heart. The group has also gained popularity on tik tok with there opening song Anti Romantic, which has its own choreographed dance created by user @yutasbestie. This album truly has something for everyone and I highly recommend giving it a listen.… Expand

    Not to be biased but these guys...... they keep coming with hit after hit. I loved the title track, and also i adored the fun twist with No Rules which is my summer track for real, specially with the end of the pandemic near, i can relate and feel "No rules" very much, I just can't wait to have again long summer nights out with friends where there is well.. no rules. Balance game (WIHBTP)Not to be biased but these guys...... they keep coming with hit after hit.     Not only the production value is high, but looking back from TXT's debut, their vocals have massively improved. In this album, we can hear belts and growls that require a special technique to pull off. The tracks are also well-put together in its order as it gradually unfolds a story throughout the end. Personally, "Frost" is my favorite as it unleashes a new side of the group.

    I really appreciate this album. The major reason I love about it is all the songs in this album do not have that traditional kpop vibe yet somehow they catch the essence of "kpop" and add their own interpretation, something Western or Japanese, etc. This really redefines what kpop is and more importantly, the songs are just good. They are the songs you want to keep listening to as a casualI really appreciate this album. First of all, all five members worked really hard on it, and are all credited in most of the songs as lyricists and songwriters, with Huening Kai, the youngest, debuting as a producer with track "Dear Sputnik" (Huening Kai being the first ever member to participate inThe Chaos Chapter: Freeze, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's second full album, has set very high standards for the music to come. First of all, all five members worked really hard on it, and are all credited in most of the songs as lyricists and songwriters, with Huening Kai, the youngest, debuting as a producer with track "Dear Sputnik" (Huening Kai being the first ever member to participate in songwriting with "Roller Coaster" from their first studio album The Dream Chapter Magic, and only the second to produce a song, following Beomgyu with his "Maze in the Mirror" from The Dream Chapter Eternity).

    Musically speaking, FREEZE explores different genres, from a more delicate R&B song like "Anti-Romantic", which describes the disillusionment of love and nevertheless the impossibility to escape it, to more strong sounds like pop-rock/punk-rock with, amongst others, the title-track "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) featuring Seori, a dramatic confession of love which highlights the great vocal and interpretative skills of each member, from the low, deep and soft voice of Beomgyu, the delicate falsetto of Soobin, the emotional interpretation of Yeonjun, the beautiful and harmonious voice of Huening Kai, to the incredible high notes and raspy voice of Taehyun.

    Continuing an already existing process with the other albums of their - let me say - flawless discography (one of their distinctive feature being the exploration of different musical genres) FREEZE also narrates a story that continues from where we were left with their previous albums: facing a world dominated by chaos (referring our current situation with the ongoing pandemic), where there are "No Rules" (the title of their #6 track, which refers their "New Rules" song from MAGIC album), the boys feel unable to move, to take action, to make a choice (as described in "What if I had been that PUMA", a continuation to their 2020 song and single "PUMA" from ETERNITY). They are frozen, as the title of the album suggests. A situation that is reflected in songs like "Frost", but also in the disillusioned and cynical lyrics of "Anti-Romantic" and "Ice Cream".

    Yet in this "world of zero", the boys meet that person, that someone, that "one and on1y" that saves them from chaos, that makes them feel the magic of love and that gives them hope (all themes explored in the other songs of the album). This narration is something every listener can relate to, belonging or not to TXT generation, and it is what makes this album so empathically emotional, a "roller coaster" of feelings.

    With the recognition it is getting all over the world and the amazing achievements obtained such as #5 on Billboard 200, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE is indeed a masterpiece and, definitely, the best album of the year.    … Expand

What makes this Album Perfect is, the involvement of the members in making of the album. However, the 7th Track, "Dear Sputnik" produced and Written By the Maknae (Youngest Member) is by far the most exceptional song I have ever heard. The whole album is threaded with a lot of different feelings and deep meanings. The Lyricism of Members in different songs, makes the songs more of a piece of themselves and that's why this Album remains so precious and groundbreaking.

    Words are definitely not enough to express how fabulous this album is. Because when it's Tomorrow X Together, you can always expect an exceptionally unique and groundbreaking masterpiece, everytime they release a new album. My belief in them as artist increases day by day and slowly we are seeing their hidden potentials, their side of music and we are all game for it! For now, The Chaos Chapter: Freeze is definitely the Best Release of this Year.

    The best discovery! I enjoyed this album so much even im not into kpop. They really served diversity and unique colors musicality. What i like the most is the contrast between lyrics and beats. This album give me roller-coaster experience (pop, rock, punk, alternative, disco and ballad).

    -You embrace what youth is: a form of chemical madness, where there are no rules, you live without fear of consequences and you don't care that everything is a mess. (No rules).
    -Life is a roller coaster and the emptiness hits you again but you realize that you don't have to go through this path alone, so you find a group of "fellow travelers" who will help you enjoy even the sad moments. (Dear Sputnik, sputnik means "fellow traveler" in Russian).
    --Congratulations, you are an adult now and only the coldness of the world welcomes you, you realize that growing up is not the answer to your problems, adulthood is a chaos of questions, being an adult is living in a frozen world that will never show you warmth.

    The lyrics, the music and the artists portray the uniqueness that growing up represents, this album conveys the feelings of that chapter of chaos that we all lived or are living in our lives.    … Expand

    I have been listening to many kpop album before.. But for this year.. This is the best one overall.. The variety of genre, The title track is the best so far.. Really uplifting even at the start of the song when the beat drops.. The message,the simple yet meaningful MV.. They really work so hard changing their vocals to fit every genre of the songs.. From ballad,to hip hop,to rock with allI have been listening to many kpop album before.. But for this year.. This is the best one overall.. The variety of genre, The title track is the best so far.. Really uplifting even at the start of the song when the beat drops.. The message,the simple yet meaningful MV.. They really work so hard changing their vocals to fit every genre of the songs..     this album was very challenging for them but they still pulled it off. all the songs were well written and produced. this is also the album where all the members participated a lot. HueningKai also made a debut as a producer, and he didn't disappoint, dear sputnik is really good. LOOKING FORWARD TO THEIR NEXT CB!!!

    The songs are memorable, Anti Romantic is fantastic and No Rules is one of my favs in this album, also, I think Lovesong is a song that a big quantity of teens can relate of and it just shows how far they can go to experiment new things and how good the results are.     Well, each Freeze song has a unique twist, one part sounds powerful and another part is so refreshing to the ears of those who are listening. In itself, TOMORROW X TOGETHER is always demonstrating a different facet in each concept and they exceed themselves and the expectations of others each time.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. though some songs are not exactly my taste, this is still one of the best albums i've ever listened to in my life. to describe the album as a whole, it's musically diverse and conceptually interesting. from the genres, the vocal direction, the atmosphere, the emotions — its diversity is honestly insane. the fact that they were able to execute all these different styles so skillfully just adds to the awe. concept-wise, some songs have common concepts done in such a way that sets it apart from its typical counterparts and instead portrays its different aspects or the same aspect but in different perspectives, while others have concepts that i have never seen before nor have i ever thought of. the expert creativity and effort put into this is already mind-blowing. and of course, there's a “typical pop song” in there, but i'm of the opinion that when executed right, simple and for-fun songs can be highly enjoyable.

    moving to what i personally feel about the album, the two songs i don't like that much are only really that obvious because the rest of the songs are masterpieces to me. i actually like them a lot, and there are only a few elements, which could easily be changed, for me to utterly love them. as for the songs i do love with all of my heart, they're my favorite songs this year and some of my favorite songs of all time. granted, their genres and production are exactly to my taste. however, even if i try to objective as i can, i still consider those songs in a league of their own.

    ultimately, this album is amazing and i'm sure that if you try listening to it, you'll find at least one song that's going straight into your playlist.    … Expand

Each track brings in a new genre to enjoy from so you feel like you're on a journey that never gets boring. My personal favorites are What if I Had Been That Puma and Frost but two more popular songs off the album are Anti-Romantic and No Rules. Of course you can't miss member produced song Dear Sputnik and title track 0x1 Love Song (I Know I Love You). The members of Tomorrow X Together had a huge hand in this album though and you will see them in the credits for most of the songs.… Expand

    TXT continue to improve more and more with every album they release. They have proven they can take on any genre of music, and do an incredible job of making it their own. There is something for everyone on this album. I am so proud of all of the members, and so grateful to be a fan of this group. I can't wait to see what amazing things the future holds for them.

    As someone who recently got into kpop, I am surprised by the varied sound of the Chaos Chapter: Freeze. The album is rich in the genres, and all the songs are good to listen to. I have never enjoyed Kpop this much until this album!

    The new album is a boop! I actually love their title track 0x1 lovesong and bside anti romantic. My first impression for these 2 song is so cool! I mean literally all of their song from previous album is good tho. TXT never dissapoint me.

    tbh i've been waiting for this album, when it released i was really impressed. the genre, vocals, and music are so unique as TXT's trademark that dares to be different from the others.

    This album brought the alternative pop rock elements I enjoy so much in western music to the forefront of the kpop industry and did it extraordinary well! Knowing the members themselves worked so closely on this album and seeing such fantastic results gives me faith in txt carrying the next generation of kpop. Every song is an ear worm and the blend of genres shouldn’t work on one album-This album brought the alternative pop rock elements I enjoy so much in western music to the forefront of the kpop industry and did it extraordinary well! Knowing the members themselves worked so closely on this album and seeing such fantastic results gives me faith in txt carrying the next generation of kpop. Every song is an ear worm and the blend of genres shouldn’t work on one album- but the drive, emotion lyricism, and concepts on each song- carried by the classic tomorrow x together sound manage to string together in a way that makes the album strong and cohesive.     not a fan of them, but at first i didn't gave that much attention to the album but when i heard 0X1 on a stage performance it was really good and the song gives out a nostalgic feeling, also frost and dear sputnik is really amazing, not the typical noise music i hear from other groups

    This album is phenomenal, like it has 8 songs with different genre that you can enjoy anytime without getting boring with it. This is the only album that have no skips for me and even though it has been a month since it is released, I constantly listen to it. I usually get tired listening to any song after 1 or 2 weeks but it is different with this album.     This right here is an album i listen without skipping any songs. I really like the touch of rock on the tracks. Members really work hard on the tracks by writing, composing,producing & it really has given us a good result.     One of the most diverse sounding albums, some tracks are experimental but all of them are perfect enough to enjoy at any part of the day. Personally, Dear Sputnik and Anti- Romantic are my favorite.

    The entire song and everything about this album is a whole masterpiece. Every comeback TOMORROW X TOGETHER gives different and unique content that no one expects. The entire song from this album is my favourite. When all the songs are all a masterpiece it's hard to pick a favourite.

    Definitely the best album of 2021 so far! I love how much they grew as artists that contribute to creating their craft. All the members made such commendable input in the process and they did so well in their performance as singers too.     This album completely shows Tomorrow x Together’s capabilities as artists. Compared to their previous tittle tracks alone 0x1=love song proves to be a drastic measure of growth and artistry as It explored the genre of pop rock. This album is a best yet and can be seen as all the members begin to slowly become more involved in the production and writing of their music
