Mi compadre, Nick Lowe, is pure genius. Every new page in his resume is strikingly new material, never stale. Nick gets better with age. Nick, round up Bobby, Geraint and the rest of the mates and let's tour. Don't forget Orange County.

Old soul and country records hover like guardian angles over trim, unhurried tunes... [14 Sep 2001, p.94]
  2. Lowe keeps turning out albums that sound like the best of his career.

The Convincer gives Lowe yet another gold star with which to pad that resume. [#51, p.99]
