Nov 13, 2020Metacritic where's the other mclusky albums?? Their final proper album before the mcluskyism best of/rarities boxset is a beast of an album, it's not as tuneful and immediate as the two albums that preceded it but if you a fan of noise rock and are willing to give it a few listens then this album is a truly hideously beautiful piece of art.

MikeHJun 28, 2004This is Mcluskys first album with new drummer Jack Eggleston. Apart from Kkkitchens the album is a tuneless pile of crap. Hard to believe this is the same band who released "Lightsabre cocksucking blues". Just goes to show how important a good drummer is. Fuck this band...they've had their day.

CraigLMay 21, 2004Album of the year. Nobody can match the rockingness, catchiness, or mega hilariousness of McLusky. The greatest band alive.

Its not mush, its just not quite as gleefully obvious as Mclusky Do Dallas was. But, by the same token, theyre not just treading the same ground.

If the fact that Albini seems to bury Falkous yelps behind too much dissonance bothers you, theres plenty of joyous wreckage to revel in.
