ClaudedAug 4, 2009The best cricket album ever. Wondeful tunes. Especially the Ball of the Century one.

S.U.Sep 28, 2009Regardless of the subject matter, if Neil Hannon has a hand in it, you would do well to listen.

carlsAug 27, 2009I don't know what some of the reviewers' problems are here. It's just a great pop album -- nothing more, nothing less. Jeff Lynne is incredibly jealous right now.

NeilV.Sep 18, 2009I'm not really a big fan of cricket so i don't get all the references but this remains a decent album with some great tunes.

It is hard to really know if there is a place for cricket concept albums. Certainly there's a time and a place for them and at the start of an Ashes summer is just that--it's perfect timing from Hannon and Walsh.

Concept album about cricket from Divine Comedy and Pugwash frontmen hits the sweet spot.

With not a dot ball or an overthrow, The Duckworth Lewis Method is an unqualified success.
