Apr 3, 2020Very interesting album, full of memories, it has something “special”, her voice goes perfect with the songs, and she knew how to create a personal, not boring album, very different to other female r&b/pop/rock/soul albums.

Nov 23, 2017I really don't understand why people and critics didn't enjoyed this LP. In Fergie's debut album, we just hear anthem's like "Big Girls Don't Cry", "London Bridge" and "Fergalicious", and that's the most important reason why this album is so relevant: THIS IS ICONIC.
-
Nov 17, 2017The album has a lot of different sounds, like R&B, hip-hop, rock, soul, electro-pop and gives Fergie a new image. It expresses what she wants, and makes a funny and light album to listen. In my opinion, one of the best albums of the last decade.
-
Oct 16, 2017es muy bueno quisiera algo mas de Fergie que saque lo mejor de ella este no sera ni el peor ni el mejor de Fergie dicen que su música es sobra aunque yo la considero que es muy buena

Oct 8, 2017This album is pop, is rock, is reggae, is RnB, is TALENT. Fergie managed to show everybody that she isn't just the "female one" of The Black Eye Pease. She's an artist. A wonderful album. Beautiful lyrics and really really good music. A little masterpiece.

Dec 19, 2016Very much on par with Gwen Stefani's equally confused 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby'. A mash of too many ideas and sounds. Jumping and hoping with little grace or warning.
-
Oct 11, 2016Bem mediano, faixas típicas ao da época, o que não tira seu valor, desnecessárias faixas Finally e Velvet. as melhores Big Girls Don't Cry, Clumsy e London Bridge.
-
Jan 28, 2016This album show Fergie as we are used to know, but it goes further, showing a unexpected one. As a pop album i can say that the lyrics are on level, catchy, not tooo much immature, and sometimes funny in a good way. Its not very cohesive that much, but its adventorous, as the result is an very decent album.
-
Oct 16, 2015The album of Fergie is magic beyond what anyone ever seen a rapper, too good in terms of voice quality, she got very far, Fergie're amazing, you're fergalicious. The Duchess Fergie

Jan 6, 2015uma porcaria, fergie é uma botocada horrorosa que tenta fazer esse pop falado que nem rap pode ser chamado e um som repetitivo, só não é pior que L.A. LOVE
-
Dec 19, 2014The album is good not excellent, Fergie is a good singer and i know this is her first album and usually a singer's first album may not be excellent but it is step towards their success and so Fergie, I want you to keep it up for potential is there

Aug 6, 2013Why all the hate? The Dutchess is an amazing album and Fergie is a better solo singer than in a group singing. A large range of beats and vocals, and exceptional guests like Ludacris.
-
Jun 1, 2012I Love Fergie!
Sadly I Felt Like The Album Was Rushed And Not Alot Of Effort Was Put Into It..
Fergie Is Better Than This.. Still A Good Album.. I Would Be To Nice Giving The Album A 8.. -
Sep 17, 2010Fergie's Debut is fierce. When "London Bridge" came out I was so excited to hear Fergie on her own. The album has some fabulous songs but some songs lack the Fergie we Are used to. Key Tracks: "London BRidge" Glamorous" "All That I Got"

MicLOct 18, 2009Altought this album is not perfect, it has really great and catchy songs on it. There is only 4 tracks that are not really good. But all the rest is great and well-produced. For a first solo album, it's really cool.

-
xsassysaysJun 19, 2008The mixed reviews show how controversial Fergie's music and image are, which is part of its appeal. Exceptionally unique album. Fergie is too edgy to be written off as a mere pop princess.

JBMar 4, 20081st off - if a review is to be posted, spell correctly. It diminishes credibility when the spelling is on the 1st grade level. Secondly, as far as POP albums go, I thought this album easily met all the necessary criteria to be justified as a very entertaining album and is worthy of an 8 at the very least.

YahirBAug 15, 2007This is a great album her vocals are pretty good, better than others. Some of her songs are very rythmic and catchy right away. Others are slow bringing Oldies back a little bit. The meaning of the songs gives the album a 10, without these I would have given an 8 or 9.
-
-
alexfJul 25, 2007I do not know if this even counts as music. She should have never gone solo. This album is horrible.
-
-
jackk.Jul 8, 2007i love this album one of the best

-
GreggMMay 6, 2007Terrific album with songs ranging from hip-hop gems ("Glamorous", "London Bridge") to gorgeous ballads ("Finally"). 10/10 for the Ferg.
-
-
WolfApr 18, 2007Very, very, very, very cool! This album grows on you, making you love it even more! Her single stand out and make you want to sing along. Face it - there is nobody like Fergie! You go girl!
-
-
ToniTheBombApr 18, 2007i kinda like it but some of the tracks are very boring..like velvet, big girls dont cry...
-
-
mathewrFeb 15, 2007The cd actually shows great breadth and is a definite departure from the usual. This cd oozes of unused potential, and is actually better than "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani.
-
-
DannyHFeb 6, 2007She freakin rocks. Shes sexy and has great songs. LOVE Clumsy, here i come, vodoo doll, and GLAMOROUS
-
-
ShereeLFeb 1, 2007the album isn't that great, there only a few songs that are worth listening too. She sounds like she's trying to be like Gwen Stefani and that surely isn't going to happen. and her performance that I saw was terrible she needs the back-up of the Black eyed peas. NO MORE SOLOS FOR FERGIE PLEASE!!!
-
-
ChadGJan 17, 2007I thought this album was awesome, especially for a first. It shows the varied range of Fergie and the different styles of which she is capable.
-
-
josakJan 5, 2007Crap. But what do you expect?
-
-
vinaJan 3, 2007I quite liked it actually...it's refreshing to hear an album where the songs sound different to each other and not like the whiny boring pretentious rubbish I usually have to listen to - whilst repeatedly being told that it's 'meaningful'. Fergie's album is fluffy and throwaway and I love it!!! You can dance to it too...
-
-
CaleWDec 27, 2006Fergie deserves capital punishment for this filth.
-
-
MrKDec 21, 2006Well what you have heard on the radio is all you really need to here off this album. Most songs have a pop reggae sound, a couple jazz tunes and a cover of Here I come. which was kind of refreshing to here. I most likely will not listen to it ever again.

SabrinaGDec 19, 2006Nothing genuine. Below average vocals. Fergi, Gwen S., and Nellie can all sing each other songs. Tired of the hype. Striclty for kiddies.
-
-
bobbDec 16, 2006some of the worst songs ive heard this year. obnoxious, headache inducing, and plain evil. id rather listen to k fed than this crap.
-
-
pootshootieDec 11, 2006Fergie and Gwen Stefani have gone batshit crazy. Sad thing is, little girls are gonna buy this shit up and the puppetmasters behind the grammys and VMAs will give them awards for it. Looks like were stuck with this bullshit until you morons quit buying for your kids. The reason to go XM or Serius.
-
-
JohnnysmugF*ckDec 10, 2006Umm, For all you fanboyz/fangrrlz. Listen to "Fuck the pain away" off The Teaches of Peaches from Peaches (2000). Fergilicious is a straight ripoff of that track. Hey I'll give her 5 for being hot.
-
-
AlfredoMDec 8, 2006I has some strong tracks but the end result is very strange. It's very superficial. i don't like the lyrics.
-
-
JohnFDec 5, 2006This is the worst album I have heard. She doesn't even sing on the album. Terrible just terrible!
-
-
VictoriaJNov 27, 2006I ike most the songs on it.But people are right .she's does have some songs that are horrible and the songs are probably meant for people 12-16,not adults.

LukeDOct 25, 2006"Fergi Ferg and me love you long time" That explains it all.
-
-
JeremyMOct 12, 2006Wow. Maybe some of these other "reviewers" were expecting more than they should've. It's just Ferg, people, the girl from Kids, Inc. and Wild Orchid. The diversity is a help, not a hindrance. Her lack of identity actually works for an iPod generation accustomed to variety.
-
-
AhmedSOct 9, 2006It has some fun songs, put the overall in not that good

RobynLSep 27, 2006I enjoy each and every song, and enjoy the sampling of earlier music. I hear nothing forced about feeling. Good Job!
-
-
SamDSep 26, 2006I don't necesarily believe it's worthy of a ten, but I'm sure that half the people who rated this never listened to it and they're just trying to be all non-conformist. It's really more like a 7.5.
-
-
mikes.Sep 26, 2006Feels like she's trying to make a pop hit and trying to hard to be cool. She is very sexy, and does have talent. However, even that is not enough to save her lack of charisma, which feels forced. Sounds like this album is geared for ages 12-16, any half witted adult will likely cringe otherwise.
-
-
timeSep 25, 2006London Bridges is one of the worst songs I've heard in my lifetime
-
-
JacobBSep 25, 2006This is the most unconsistant, unoriginal album I have heard in a long time.
-
-
JennBSep 24, 2006yawn....at least we don't have to worry about Gwen Stefani putting out a record of crap leftover sounding music. Fergie apparently took all the tripe Stefani scrapped for LoveAngelMusicBabay and tried to pass it off as her own.... yawn.
-
-
borisfSep 24, 2006For a debut album of someone who's already achieved greatness in this industry it could have been bette,r but for just a debut album its great

-
-
ChrisWSep 23, 2006...not all is bad here. There is some great studio work by the production teams. But the main problem is that Fergie doe not have enough talent to carry a solo project. And please Fergie... stop rapping! The only real white female rapper is, and always will be... Tarrie B.

ToddWSep 21, 2006Fergie, your prince is a frog. This album is uglier. When the cover is a pin-up, you know the album is a stinker. A black eye which does not ap-peas.

KDoggSep 20, 2006This is da worst hyped cd of the year. And everyone who buys it or says its good are the dummest people in the world, and need to be hit upside the head like Jeff
-
-
FussyLaRueSep 20, 2006I hate Black Eyed Peas, but this album ain't half bad. It's derivative, but more artists today should be channeling the fun and sexy rap and pop groups of the past (JJ Fad, Mary Jane Girls) than doing whatever the hell it is Beyonce thinks she's doing.

Mildly entertaining but tremendously taxing.
-
Though not every track is a gem, The Dutchess reaches further than most albums by contemporary divas.
-
Los Angeles TimesThe problem is the Duchess herself. Fergie exudes earthy charm, but can't keep up with the breakneck music. She forces emotion on the slower show-stoppers, and she's all cartoon kitten on the come-ons. [17 Sep 2006]
